WOYWW #402

And as most of you will know from following all the updates, I'm out of hospital, and starting to get back to my desk. Doing everything very slowly, trying to gradually build myself up again, and bolstering myself with painkillers along the way. Another week, and another WOYWW, over at Julia's place, The Stamping Ground.
A balloon decorating the back of my PC desk chair!
A huge bunch of flowers were waiting for me when I got downstairs, from my Beloved Hubby.
I'll blog this card I made for Hubby in the next couple of days- one of those that all sort of came together in my head, then everything went where it was supposed to!

I'll be round visiting on and off, I still can't sit too long in one position or my side hurts, so I end up going off for a lie down every now and then.
But it's wonderful to be back home with Beloved Hubby, and to be able to visit all my Blogging friends.

I do love the card Shaz made and the stamp used on the front is just perfect. Especially as that is the thing we say to each other all the time , it is missing the forever and ever on the end; maybe that will be a new stamp......

Oh Shaz, it is wonderful to know you are back in the arms of your beloved hubby Doug.
I love the card you made for him, what a gorgeous main focal stamp - now I am wondering who makes that one and my mind goes to a photo at the top on your header (bottom left, am I right?).
Take it nice and easy, don't spend too much time trying to craft, just get well - hopefully see you at PS?
Enjoy your flowers (we didn't do Valentines this year with having my sis here)
Hugs, Neet 12 xxx

Cards to make our lovelies happy have a habit of being easier than random people cards! It sure did come together, it's lovely. Bet Doug loved it. Meanwhile, I'm loving your report of taking things easy and the occasional lie down....I'm fully fit and because my desk chair is too low I get a pain in my side from sitting too long, so crikey gal, you're doing really well. Stay slow xxxx

Happy WOYWW and so glad to see that you have been reunited with your desk (that balloon is gorgeous). I have just read through all of the updates and you have certainly 'had a time'. Doug's updates are brilliant. Not many men would do that. Keep resting and mending. Ali x #26

Hi Shaz, it's wonderful to have you back blogging but be sure to take it easy and pace yourself. There's nothing wrong with going for a lie down when you've just been through what you have. I'm sure you're beloved hubby will agree. The card is gorgeous - the perfect sentiment. Hope you have a good week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #35

Hello Shaz,

Your strength and drive are amazing! I only hope that I can face difficulty with the grace and strength you have. You (and your husband) have been an inspiration for me. I have several auto-immune diseases and can sometimes get so down about it all but then someone like you comes into my life and shows me what strength is all about. Cheers to you and yours!

The Valentine card came together quite well. I love that saying and the stamp(?) of the moon is perfect in the corner of the heart.

Happy WOYWW my dear friend.

Hugs,
Kay (41)

Glad you're home and doing better. Be careful not to push yourself. Rest is the best medicine. Your card is lovely. On a funny note, years ago when I had to take pain pills I sure did do some creative projects. LOL. My journaling was so much more descriptive than normal and I came up with things I wouldn't normally. LOL. So get creative!

I am very sorry about the incredibly late peek Turns out working on a Wednesday and joining in WOYWW don't go together - so I will just have to have Wednesdays off! I am so glad that you are out of hospital and slowly getting back to your desk - must have been a lovely feeling to be able to sit at it again. The card to hubby is fantastic, I checked out the making of it. Don't you just love it when you get an idea and it comes together first time? I had a dream once I was eating Bear shaped biscuits. The very next day I went to a shop and was confronted with a bear shape biscuit cutter. I had to buy it and now make 'Bearscuits' for xmas/birthdays, etc. Glad you're on the up - take it easy and thanks for sharing - EmbroidRage #6 x
