WOYWW #401 (Hublet Edition)

Linking up again with our Julia over at The Stamping Ground, to show off this weeks desks of goodies (well cards at least) I have had a go at Scheduling this on Sharon's behalf. I will have a go at doing linky when i get back from work in the morning , but should a kind soul find the time before me that would be fantastic.
I did it and it worked :)

So whats on the desk then I hear you ask? .. (queue asking so Doug whatever could their be on Sharon's Desk?) Well lets take a look then....
A collection of some bought and fantastic hand made cards that's what , they are all fabulous

So they had had enough of Shaz on HDU so the shunted her out onto the ward Yesterday, with the plan of reducing the oxygen to see how she copes without it. Currently she is on flow rate of 2 i am guessing that the plan would have been to step it down to 1.5 then 1 then .5 etc but nope, the sister in the bay she is in said they will leave things as they are then simply turn it off. Not what i would do but then i am not a nurse/doctor.
Other news Shaz went into hospital with high blood pressure and will be leaving with diabetes go figure ......Only shaz could do that.

Anyway Shaz may or maynot be coming home today it just depends on the above but they did say it could be Thursday so we will see.....

So that's in from me , I am sure Shaz will be going round and visiting you all to see what you may have all been upto .

TTFN

Doug

What lovely cards, Doug. Well done on the scheduled post!! Great that Shaz is recovering - but indeed she is a unique young lady - not many could achieve going in with one issue and coming out with another.
Take care. Love to you both. God bless.

You're right about the cards, lovely. I'm as confused as you about the diabetes, how does that happen?!! Anyway, top of all of these things is that a Shaz is out of HDU and looking forward to coming home some time, this is a very positive thing. Brace yourself!!

Hello Doug, the cards look great, good news that Shaz will be going home soon, bummer about the diabetes, but yes that sometimes happens. I have diabetes, type 2,but inject, pain in the butt, but hey ho that's life.
An excellent support org, is diabetes.co.uk, loads of info and has helped me enormously, perhaps something to check out once you and Shaz get your heads around it.
Thanks again for the update, Kate x

Oh clever pair thats such team work,

I am so glad Shaz is recovering from the op, bummer that her bloods have shown raised glucose levels... glad she has enough energy to do the desk hop this week from her bedside chair (waves), if she maintains her Sats (oxygen saturation levels) the O2 stays off, if her sats drop they will pop it back on, only way to fidn out is to try without the supplementary oxygen....... I do hope we will find Shaz back home and at her desk where she belongs soonest. Dxxx #31

I have not been around for a while so didn't know that she had been in hospital. Hope she gets home today and oxygen levels continue to get better.

Thanks again Doug for keeping us updated on Shaz's progress. Sounds like she is doing well, notwithstanding the diabetes which I hope is just the result of the surgery and maybe even temporary. The get well cards are lovely. xx
