A warm welcome to all my visitors,

Thank you for taking the time to come and look at my blog, I really do appreciate it. I would love you to leave me a comment, even if it’s just to say Hi. It means I can come visit you!

All my designs are original, so copyrighted to me. If I have been inspired by someone elses work, I have named them in the post, and where able, I have provided a link.

Please feel free to use my designs for inspiration, I just ask you to credit me, and provide a link back to my blog.

WOYWW #482

Yep, there you go. No warning, just hitting you with a messy desk shot. Mind you, you ought to see the table behind me, lol. WOYWW is here again, so leave your link over at Julias, The Stamping Ground, and you too can visit desks like this. 😀

I decided that using up some UFO's today was in order, so hauled out an envelope full of these:

A whole bundle of Mixed Media Die cuts, that were going to make some fast cards.

Pretty much only needing trimming to size, and then a sentiment adding.

9 cards so far, and quite a few more partly done.

I do love these dies, they are great for using for any type of card, so even a last minute card can look really fab.

A wedding card made from one of these is in the post a couple back, and Morts birthday card and it's jazzed up interior is just below this one.

Had a very productive Sunday, as inspiration struck for some ATC's for the crop, and I got them all made the same day. Go me!

Sunday also involved a visit to Tesco, where I saw these 'Cosmic Colour' Sharpies, for a couple of quid, in the Back to School promotion.

Sent of for our tickets to the Happy Stampers Festival on October 6th. I've put the link there for anyone curious. It's held at Port Sunlight, and is a great show that's all Papercrafting. There is a list of those taking part on the link, as well as the address to buy tickets, which have to be bought in advance, there are no on the door sales. But the really fab thing is that the tickets cost £2.50, and the parking is free, either in the adjoining, but quite small, car park, or the surrounding roads. It's a really nice show, and there are always a few WOYWers there.
Less than two weeks now to the crop, and I have been putting quite a lot of crafting books and other stuff into a box , ready to go looking for a new home.
I'll be bringing my dies, as usual, probably my embossing folders, and my Cuttlebug. I expect someone will have a Big Shot about their person as well. So bring your cardstock- I'll also bring my envelopes of off cuts to be used up.
We've booked into the Travelodge in Llandudno town for Friday night & Saturday night, then travel home on Sunday.
Well, I think I'm done, that only leaves
 And Finally..................................

See, that is what I should have been doing on Sunday, cracking on and making stuff not just.... not!! I had my notice about Port Sunny but am not going this year. I know it will be fab though! Helen #??

Wish I could go to Port Sunny, got to miss this one so am glad I will see you at the Crop.
Love those cards, the black ones with the swirl particularly caught my eye when I first came on your blog but then I saw the one with the diamonds and then .... and so it went on - lovely cards Shaz.
Not mentioing the ATC's as I am envious - got to start mine yet and not a clue what to do this year.

Morning Shaz. Oh my!! You are showing ultra efficiency with this post! Unlike me... Those cards are just lovely - might be "quick" cards, but still look so stylish - well done. ATCs already made! Goodness - I have only just started mine - none properly finished at all yet! Still got another week though. The Premier Inn looks great from the outside - not been in - but it is fairly new, only a couple of years old there in the town - enjoy. Exciting special guest at the crop this year!!
Take care. God bless.

Morning Shaz, that a lot of ATCs, so far I only have half that many.
Lovely cards you've made from you UFOs, satisfying is it to clear up the bits and see the pile of finished cards build up.

Wow, you've been productive this week! I love that you got some UFOs completed as well - that seems extra satisfying somehow, lol! I loved Mort's card, just right for an 18 year old. I've seen a couple of Croppers have made ATCs - I haven't done anything yet. Oo-er, better get my skates on!

How busy are you! So much done in just a week. I’ve been busy making to take with me to the crop too....but I’m not sharing 😀😀😀 We are staying in the Travelogue Friday and Saturday nights so Llandudno won’t know what’s hit it. Hope to catch up soon.
Hugs,

Look forward to seeing you and Doug at the crop Shaz. Eva is probably going to Port Sunny but I won't be as I went in May. Loved your wedding card. I haven't made any ATCs as I have over 40 tags for people to choose from so will be bringing those. See you soon. Sarah #18

How fun to visit an energized bunny ! You have accomplished a lot and I love the idea of several at a time. Would love to see those ATC's. I've been searching Pinterest for the new coin ones. I always love the "back to school" deals. Have fun

Happy WOYWW. I so wished we lived more centrally in the UK and I could get to these events. One day! Although the Crop is in Wales this year, it is actually more difficult to get to North Wales than over to England, and hubby is still busy with farm for this month and next. I did investigate trains, but an 8 hour journey with changes is too much for me. Well done for getting all those cards and ATCs made - I rarely seem to do any paper crafting now. Just lost all enthusiasm. Ali x #22

Love how you've put together those cards with the mixed media dies, I really needed some inspiration to use them, they are great.
You have been busy completing all those ATC's, I've only ever made one and it took me ages, too small for my brain to get around, ha,ha

You're right these dies are great for going over left-over bits of hand coloured card and printed too come to that. They are so useful and make really stylish cards. I love sharpies but not seen these. One day I really must try and make the Crop! Have a great week and happy woyww, Angela x9x

That's a great idea for cards, Shaz! Even I could have a go at them - got some of those dies too! Those Sharpies look tempting - must keep my eyes open next time I visit Tesco's! Sounds like you're all set for the crop - I look forward to seeing the photos! Have a happy week! zsuzsa #24

Great final shot, today! Love how you finished off your Cards; great use of your unfinished stash! I should probably do that. Thanks for the visit and comment, Shaz! #33

Sounds like you will need a big trolley to cart all your stuff to the crop! I must get my head round what I need to bring. I think a box of brownies is high on my list!! lol Hope they can cope with all the mad crafters descending on them! xx Jo

Your cards look great. Isn't it a lovely feeling to use up UFOs. Karen 21

Why is it that we collect so many UFOs? They are taking over my craft space!! The mosaic represents quite a lot of work at some time but then I obviously got stuck (the exterior ply) and never went back. It actually shouldn't take much to finish, I've probably spent more time looking for the bloomin' nippers than it'll take to finish. Loving that big swirl die, so sad I won't be at the crop. Thank you for your earlier visit, I'm way behind as I had some visitors today. Happy Wednesday, Cindy #23

Hi Shaz, someone's been busy this week! Mind you, you always have something interesting to show each week. Thanks for the tutorials on your blog, I look at them for ideas quite regularly. Stampscapes are next on my list to try! Great cards in your post this week, I now need to use up my UFOs since I reutilised my UFO box, or find a new box! I'll try and get some ATCs made for the Crop, time permitting. I got a leaflet for Happy Stampers. I think I'm going so will buy a ticket, but won't know for certain till we get back from Canada. Have a lovely week Heather #11

I'm thinking that you're not going to be in Llandudno this coming Saturday? The Llandudno GoldWing Light Parade is on that day (the 1st) and I'll be on the prom all day with our GoldWing and then parading round the town in the evening with all lights flashing etc.. It's a wonderful spectacle which raises money for worthy charities.....

Nice messy busy desk, Shaz, and great that you are tackling some UFOs. My UFOs all take so long to complete... I think they will probably outlive me at this rate! Have fun at Port Sunlight when the time comes.

You've made really good use of those UFO's Shaz what a great selection each as fab as the next. I'm longing to get stuck in and just craft for the sake of crafting, but as you saw from your early visit it's not going to be happening my side for a week or two. Grrrrr!!
Wishing you a Happy WOYWW & hope we get to see those crop ATC's.

Those 'fast cards' are fabulous! I would love to join you all for the crop one day... until then, I keep dreaming and will view all the photos that will certainly appear on the blogs ;) After painting (the lilac case) my beloved and I spend some quality time last week going for walks and such so I'm pretty late with my visit, it's almost weekend already! Enjoy, enjoy. Love from the Netherlands. Marit #20

Shaz, your desk made me feel quite at home (and if it helps, my desk is even worse, and also a table that is beside my chair where I work, as well as 2 other areas I have totally piled up!) At least you've used some wonderful UFO-s to create some stunning cards. I love those Mixed Media dies and forget to use them, so well done, you! Enjoy your craft shows. TFS &Hugs

Thanks for your return visit, Shaz, and sorry to be so long replying - it's been a busy weekend and then I've been pretty tired, although I did manage to make apple chutney this a.m. and have a friend round this p.m.! I probably did do a typo or got confused with figures (what's new...) the kitties gained a kilo in weight each since last year, not 2 kilos! They are both pretty big now, anyway.

Hope to join WOYWW later on today - it's now 12.15 a.m. Wed.!
