WOYWW #480

Good Morning folks, hope you are having a good day today.  Our local craft store, Amelias, had a sale day on Saturday, so of course it would have been rude not to visit.😀
Snagged a few bargains- I love the Impression Obsession Cover a card stamps, and got a fab snowflake one, along with a Crafters Companion Birthday sentiment one, and a couple of House Mouse Christmas ones.

Not that I need any paper pads, but the Christmas 6x6 one was only a couple of quid.
Some Yupo paper which I've been meaning to try out with alcohol inks for a while, and a great set of TH Snowflake dies.

And then of course, Doug spotted some stamps he really liked! The Crow one got my vote too, as well as the Parrot in the set on the far right. Poor thing looks like he's missing a few feathers, lol. So feather stamps went in the basket too. I also picked up another Encore Metallic pad in a colour called Honeydew, and a Brusho colour that wasn't in the sets I bought, called Sunburst Yellow.

I finally got around to doing all the inserts for those Christmas cards on last weeks desk, the big Snowflake stamp is from Chloe.

The sentiment is an Inkylicious stamp.

Used it across the inside of the inserts, and on others I used a Santa & Sleigh stamp from a  Visible Image set.

This sentiment is from a Phill Martin set, called Snowflake Borders.

Hubbys birthday card, as yesterday was our birthday.

 Stamps from Visible Image.

And a 40th card for my daughter, who's birthday is on Friday.
The card front was cut out with the Silhouette.

And that's pretty much me done, I think.
All that remains is for me to add my link over at Julias place, The Stamping Ground.
And finally..............................

Wish I could persuade PJ to drive over to Amelia's ... think it's a beautiful shop but we are never in that direction. You certainly caught some great bargains in your basket.
Love the inserts, something I never do.
Have a lovely week

Love all your new stash and I do love the Cover a Card snowflake stamp - I have a few IO stamps in that range but annoyingly had to buy a large (and quite pricey) acrylic block to accommodate them. The snowflakes one is on my 'wanted' list now! I love the feathers too and would have snapped that set up.
The birthday cards are both fab, happy belated birthday wishes to you both.
Have a great week,

Wow, that is some intricate cutting out on the card for your daughter - beautiful card. Love the one for Doug as well, just perfect!
How fabulous to have a local shop never mind one that is having a sale day. Lots of lovely stuff too, especially the TH dies, those will be ever so useful. My favourites go to Doug's selection of AASL & Create stamps - lucky you getting those in a sale. I have a few but not the crow one which I would have to buy if I saw it.Looking forward to seeing the various things used as you do such lovely stuff when you craft.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx
ps Happy Birthday again to you both xx

Loving all your bargain pieces. The AALL& Create stamps are some of my favourite at the moment. I'd not seen the crow one and even the trees on there look useful but I like the parrot too. Already have the feathers..... better stop looking! Thanks for the visit and happy woyww, Angela x12x

Hi Shaz, You'll have fun with the new goodies.

The card is lovely.

I think I would scan those inserts into my PC and print them off, but maybe that's a real no,no. Hey I can be a rebel:) LOL

Thank you for stopping by my blog.

Well, you certainly are a one for a bargain, Shaz! You've got a good eye for it. Have fun with all your lovely new stash! Great cards, too. Really good funny this week, as well! Thank you for your lovely comment and your good wishes for tomorrow's appointment. I've waited so long for this, and I shall be disappointed if I don't get to see the stoma nurse. Not that I've got any real problems now because I've sorted them out for myself, but I'd like to keep them up to date. I'm glad you like my scarf. To get a real wow factor with it, I think I'm going to have to make a LOT more embellishments!

Happy WOYWW,

The And Finally made me crease up! How many times have I written something on a display, only not to have room...sigh. That's how I learned to start in the middle and work outwards ;-). Great bargains there and that's the second time I've seen Yupo paper mentioned, have no idea what that is! Glad you liked the cards, they were very basic but I enjoyed making them!
Sorry I'm late replying, I was out all day on a WI Trip!

Ha! It’s so true. At a workshop I often say to the workshopeers that such and such is the best way to avoid whatever disaster, followed with a small pause and the ‘ask me how I know that’ question!! Nice bundle of bargains there, specially like the snowflake dies. I like the IO card covers too, but they have to be ina sale for me..my most local supplier of Impression Obsession has them at 25 each!!
