WOYWW #501-The UFO Edition

UFO's.  As in, loads of partly done projects that need making into cards. I store them in plastic wallets, with the intention of getting back to them. Usually that time frame is supposed to be soon. Lately I'm expanding my definition of the word 'soon' to mean anytime in the next decade. Or even lifetime.😁
As you can see, quite a few piled there. But, the important bit is that I've started. A bit.

But I'm wandering. Time to meet up at our Head Deskers place, The Stamping Ground, where Julia will try and keep us organised. Did some stamping at the weekend, as it was the first Christmas Card Club post of the year. Made a Masterboard to use as backgrounds.
Two cards using it, still got a lot left, I rather like the 4 panel one, might do some more like that, and make some more masterboards too. After I've finished the UFO's, lol.

First UFO getting there, matted one onto dark purple cardstock, the cut the border with a Shapeabilities On the Edge die. Just got to stamp a sentiment and matt that on then. Thats it you can see on the white paper bottom left of the top picture. It's all individual words, and I was trying to make sure they were all straight before I stamped.

A better look at my UFO pile! Then of course I have to do the inserts- and I already have a load of Christmas & other cards waiting in that UFO pile.

There's a post about the Tim Holtz Travel Platform compared to the full sized one HERE, in case anyone was considering a purchase.
        Which just leaves............And Finally.......

Do love Snoopy, Charles Shultz has made smile over many years. Love the UFO pile too Shaz and already seen masterboard and the Tim Holtz review. 😊
Tried my Crafts Too platform which was bargain £12 ($24.99 in AUD) is totally excellent and Stamps as clearly as mini Misti does. If wanted just one, I’d be happy with just it. Not sure why but like it bit better.
Ah must attack some UFO or unfinished objects too, Shaz!

I know what you mean about the UFO's I was so close to just throwing some of mine the other day but just couldn't bring myself to do it.. stored for another 10 or lifetime then haa haa!! The panel card is a great design, I think Christmas cards are much easier to make the top end of the year rather than the tail.
A5 folder's the perfect way to store those will they ever make if creations. Happy woyww Tracey #8

Ha, love the And Finally today - I think I have Pollyanna-ish tendencies and tend to be bright and cheerful most of the time. Hooray if that ticks people off too - double whammy ;-). Love that snowflake master board and the lace stencil too, lush!

I love your 4 panelled card too....well done you. I esp like the and finally... this week. It reminds me of the one that says "keep smiling...at the very least people will wonder what you've been up to!".

Well done Shaz, tackling your UFOs. Time I made a start on mine, too, although the purple spotty knitting is one, so I suppose I shouldn’t feel too guilty! I love all your projects. Love the funny this week, too! Lol!

HI Shaz, hehehe I always love your "And finally" :o) You have some gorgeously-promising UFOs there, I will look forward to seeing them finished. I've just checked out your stamping platform post. Same as you, I love my TH platform but found the price of the MISTI put me off. I love it for all the reasons you mention, and find the large size useful when stamping on scrapbook pages. Thanks for the handy tips - I will definitely make up some spacers. Happy WOYWWday! Annie C #19

Hi Shaz, loving your definition of time that works for me Lol! and the snoopy attitude, all good. I often find that playing with small art and then storing them for a while is better for Mr Mojo as it seems to encourage him to wake up. Happy woyww, Angela x10x

Good for you, to dive into UFO's... I'm glad I don't have much of those laying around. Oh, I'm such an organized and 'finish things first' person, I sometimes ennoy myself! Which makes me come to your last picture... LOVE IT! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #20

Hi Shaz!
I like that you call your unused stuff UFOs - unidentified flying objects! 😊
I have a load of them too and stuck in plastic files - even color coordinated! But I do't know when they will be used - some day some where.....
Your quotes are great - thank you they make my day!
Love and hugs,
Cardarian

Nice panelled card Shaz - and I like how you knuckle down and get things done. Not like me, I spend too much time thinking about doing it.
Good luck with the UFO's - I have two sitting on top of my In/Out Tray and they have been there for two years at least - will they ever get finished? I hesitate to answer. They are there because I need to concentrate on them - and it is too much effort. I am a hopeless case.
Glad you are not - thanks for inspiring us.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx

Beautiful masterboard and great cards! I, too, like the paneled one the best. I don't have any UFOs at the moment. But I do have some paper that I made on the gel press that I need to use.... someday. Love the quote! Have a great week!

Love the UFO cards, you truly do make amazing stuff out of bits and pieces that I would discard without a second thought. The snoopy quote has been saved - perfect.
Have a lovely week

Thanks for your return visit, Shaz. Glad you like the bread, and approve of the knitting! I remember getting my fingers caught in the long strands on the back as well, with Mum’s knitting. I think she used to weave in every few stitches but it was never enough. I get in a rhythm with doing each stitch and it’s very satisfying!

Hugsya back! Shoshi x

Hi Shaz, I made some 3 panelled cards last year, never thought of 4 - but yours looks good, I'll store that one away for now. I think I lost my very small UFO box. No doubt it is buried in the messy bit of my craft room that you don't see, I'll dig it out sometime in the next year or two ... Have a wonderful crafty week, hugs Heather xx #24
