And what a milestone it is! 500 weekly linkups around the world, non-stop. All from an idea by Julia, our much loved leader at the home of WOYWW, The Stamping Ground, to have a weekly blog hop sharing our desks,( and floors/cupboards/ and I recall at least one Ironing board!) good & bad, tidy & messy, no matter what your craft, this is a fun and friendly place to drop in with friends every week.So I'm sending a huge Thank You to Julia, who along with some occasional standing in from LLJ, keeps us organised every week, and a huge Thank You to all of you who join in, to make this so much fun. We also have an amazing 10th Birthday Crop to look forward to on June 1st too.
There has been much more tidying and packing away than crafting this week- Christmas has now finally left the building. Normally I leave it till 12th Night to take the decorations down, but this year I just wanted to see the back of them, lol.
So, you may recall amongst my Crimbo pressies was a case for my Prismacolor pencils. I'd originally bought the middle set of 72, not being sure how much I'd like, and therefore use them. Having discovered they are so much easier at blending than Promarkers, I've gradually built up my collection.
There are a total of 150 in the range, but as I had a box of 72, needed
something for all of them. This is the case Hubby bought me, and I can
highly recommend it. It will hold up to 180 pencils, so room for
spares/blenders etc, and has a totally solid outer case.
For anyone wanting to buy pencils to build up their collection, I can also recommend Artist Pencils Online . The guy whose business it is is very fast at shipping- typically next day- and packages them really safe and secure. He also has a couple of deals on them , 10 for £12.95, or 7 for £9.48, which makes them the cheapest on the Net, as that makes them either £1.29 or £1.35 each, and the cheapest price I could find for individual pencils is £1.60, frequently more.( Yes, Julia, I'm enabling again!)😁😁
Some colouring being done- great to be able to use some stamps I'd shied away from as I was not happy with the results from Promarkers.I think it's partly due to the colours all being so strong, even their Pale/Pastel shades seem extremely dark. Although I have recently realised that the Flexmarker range, which are also by Letraset, and will work together with Promarkers, do have a lot more very pale colours in them, so I have bought a handful to see if it helps. Equally, part of the problem is quite possibly me expecting to be better at using them with little or no practice!
Hubby bought me these after seeing a card on Facebook using them, and tracked them down. The cat image is great, as you get a selection of facial expressions to use with it, as well as a Santa hat.
The previous post to this one is my annual round up of my favourite projects of the year, and probably tomorrow, Thursday, I'll do a review of the Tim Holtz Travel Platform, now I've had it out and used it.
Which just leaves.....And Finally......

that's a handy looking case for your pencils Shaz! I love the cat stamp too; hadn't seen that around
Hope you have a very happy and, more importantly, healthy, new year. Love to you both. Helen #??
Like you would rather use pencils than Promarkers and that is a great set. Lovely to have a hubbie who sources out craft supplies for you mine use to say you buy it and I'll pay not quite the same thing. Thought that was my delivery from Amazon though! Have a good 500 WOYWW. Ani
I did laugh at that Amazon lorry Shaz (not far from the truth lol). Happy New Year and looking forward to the crop already! I will have to try out the Prismacolour pencils some time (are they water soluble too?). Happy WOYWW and Happy New Year. Sarah #12
Happy New Year Shaz and Doug, hope it's a cracking one for us all! I loved the party balloons heade at the top of the blog, very suitable for today's celebration. The Amazon lorry made me smile too! I always read your R&D posts even if I don't know about the products your're mentioning - the hot foiling technique still seems like magic to me (as does embossing)
Lots of love, LLJ 7 xxx
Morning Shaz. I wish you a very happy and blessed new year! Both of you!!Great "and finally" this week! Wherever do you find them?? He's delivering a whole other room for you... Great colouring - I admit I like using water colour pencils - don't know how it happens, but I'm much neater with those!
Take care both of you. God bless.

Happy New Year my friend.....isn't it lovely to be able call you a friend thanks to Julia's efforts over the years? Thanks for your love and support my friend...it's good to be back.
Love the new crayons....i'd have to say I'd not want to use them in case I broke a point and they needed sharpening cos one would be shorter than the rest then lol.
Hugs,

Yes dear Shaz I’ve been WOYWWing for eight years since first Wed in 2011, but we’d met in my first month of blogging two months before as I recall, so you I’ve knkwn the longest out of all WOYWWers thanks to Maggie, she introduced us via Eileen Godwin’s blog!! Love how personal blogging is. Saw your year in review and as I’ve one of your masterpieces I know how grand they are.
I’ve a set of 140 Prismas from my sister as she bought a new set and they’re in a good box. I’ve promarkers too and use certain pencils and markers according to image. I’ve two good sets of pencils and love my Tombow too, which are my oldest ones.
Mm, yes, that truck from Amazon is just pulling up at my place... in my dreams! :D I actually don’t use Amazon.
I love my mini Misti which I’ve had for two years now, so know that TH mini is prob equally as good.
I’ve bought Strong bar magnets on EBay.
Praying a happy and healthy 2019 for you and Doug! So blessed to have met you thanks to Margaret in 2018!
Happy 500! Hugs Shaz in Oz.x
Lovely tribute to #500, Shaz! That is an enviable collection of Prismacolors and I might just have to look into that cat stamp as well! The Amazon meme is hilarious! Thanks for stopping by earlier! Wishing you a wonderful and creative New Year! zsuzsa #19

Hi Shaz, Happy New Year to you and Doug, and happy 500th WOYWW- love the balloons. All I can say is keep on reviewing and enabling, I love reading your reviews, and your tutorials. Makes my crafty life so much easier. Laughed at the Amazon pic - if only... I'm so curious now as to what was being delivered! Have a lovely week Heather x #33
I love prisma colour pencils too and that case is fantastic... it may have to go on my birthday wish list! Wishing you a Happy and Creative New Year. Thanks for Sharing. God Bless, Caro x (#20)
Hello Shaz
Happy New Year and Happy 500th WOYWW - such an achievement on Julia's part.
Love those pencils, what a thoughtful gift from Doug. I have brushos out on the table - no further than that. I have been trying to get back into crafting mode today.
Thank you for the visit on Boxing Day - I had intended visiting everyone but once family arrived that was it. I've not done a lot since - until today. Anne x #18
Thanks for the smile at the end of your blog post - great!
Thanks also for the friendship that has happened all through Julia and her blog hop - with you it came as a double friendship - you and Doug! Love meeting up with you at Port Sunny and the Crop and so enjoy your blog posts - seeing what you make and all the techniques you take us through.
Have a wonderful year, the two of you, and all my love and best wishes for 2019
Hugs, Neet xxxx
Great case! I have a 120 set of Prismacolor pencils but haven't used them in a long time! Love the cat stamps! Great different faces! And the crafting supply truck... LOL! I just ordered a 3 tier cart from HSN by Totally Tiffany to try and corral my stuff! Thanks for popping by and have a GREAT week!

Happy 500 and Happy New Year!
I'm still not a huge "colouring" person but glad that you are enjoying your pencils more. I've always shied away from alcohol markers because they are quite dear and seemed so dark.. but in the right hands I am sure they are great!
Sumbunneh hugs,

I don’t do much colouring but suddenly thinking I might take it up..can’t imagine why!! You’re quite right, there has been an ironing board, and a washing machine top. We crafters,...any flat surface! Am hugely looking forward to Crop10, but meanwhile, thanks for all the 500 fuss...you are a great contributor friend...and it’s nothing without you!
Hi Shaz. I'm pleased to hear you like the pencils. I don't find blending easy and having tried different pencils and pens without much success I had decided not to buy anything else but might just get a few of these and try them out. Looking forward to another year of friendly creativity. Happy New Year and big hugs, Angela x16x
Hi Shaz, Some great stash. I did chuckle at the Amazon parcel:)
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Happy 500th WOYWW

Happy New Year and #500 Shaz! I love your coloring; I've never been that good with pencils, only the water ones that blend out; you're work looks lovely. And as always, I love the photo at the end; so true!
Have a wonderful week!

I'm waiting on some craft supplies purchased before and after Christmas, I know there is a lot but i'm hoping the van will not be that big that brings it haa haa!! What a proud case of pencils, so glad I am not alone with the use of them as I love mine, but Caran D'ache is my preferred brand just can't get out of the habit after nearly 40 years of using them.
Love that cat stamp set, i've used the hat in the set more than any other Christmas stamp.
Happy Woyww Hugs Tracey #14 (the right one) :D
Hi Shaz, Happy New Year!! hehehe, I love that final image, my postman has started rolling his eyes when he delivers my crafty packages ... but now I REALLY NEED that case for my Prisma colours, I love them but the tin they come in is not fun to use and that case looks fab - it's going on my birthday list. You are indeed the Great Enabler :o) The cat stamp set looks brilliant, can't wait to see what you do with it! Annie C #37
That photo of "your crafting supplies finally arriving" is so funny! Happy New Year and 500th post! Dorlene #31
I did giggle over that Amazon box delivery. ( my desk resembled that after the mail arrived at work today lol) Ooh that cat set looks like it will be so much fun to change the face expressions to suit what ever sentiment you are wanting to do.
I love my pencils.
I have the full range of Prisma and Polychromos and I use them together.
I have some copic markers and about the only things I do with them after playing for years with them is skin tones on people and sometimes sky on big background images. if I do use the makers for a base layer I go over the tops with pencils for shading and texture.
so now that you have all the pencils sometime pick up a clear colorless blender marker from Prisma. ( you can use it to melt the pigments of the pencils) (so, its less messy than say stumps and gamsol type things) Just a thought,
Happy New Years Shaz,
Stacy #27
What a fabulous case for your pencils, Shaz! Hubbies are great for giving us the right supplies at appropriate times, aren’t they, lol! This year mine gave me some wireless earbuds which are totally brilliant and I’m using them all the time with my iPad. I love love love your funny!!! How true, how true...
Thank you for your visit, and sorry to be so long replying but I’ve spent 2 days trying to sort out my hubby’s computer woes, and I’ve still got my own to deal with, too. The kitties have been so sweet over the past couple of days with lots of mutual grooming and cuddling up on my lap - less about love and more about warmth where we are concerned, we suspect!
Happy belated 500th WOYWW and a very happy new year to you both, and let’s hope for good health during the coming year!
Shoshi x #27
Oooh! I LOVE the cat stamps! What a smart hubby! The TH platform is something I am struggling with, he stated that we wouldn't have to press hard but I find I still have to as the whole image doesn't print unless I do. I don't even know if I'm using it correctly with my UMs. Oh well. I'm glad you are having good luck with yours! Happy 500th WOYWW, and Happy New Year as well! Thanks for your visit, Lindart #32
Hi Shaz!
Happy WOYWW Anniversary. You were my enabler to join this crew and I am so glad I did. Thank you. I love your Amazon picture at the bottom of your post. Does that come with it's own SheShed :-D I love Prismacolor Pencils. Haven't used mine much. Got attracted to them when I took a short demo class by Terry Medaris. You'll find his link on my sidebar. That case hubby got you looks fabulous! Let's see what we can stir up in 2019. Creative Blessings! Kelly #38
Hi Shaz !
Thank you for visiting my blog! You must be one of the most productive crafters I have ever known! Really amazing lovely stuff! I have a lot of catching up to do with our WOYWW - 500??? Isn't that great? yes loosing weight is a struggle but you have to do what you have to do!
Have a great 2019!
Love and hugs
