WOYWW #558- The Organising Edition.

Anyone see where January went? Crazy that we are almost half way through Feb already. Which means almost Valentines day, so that card will be my next project. Yes, I know I need to get a move on, but I have a plan. Not that that always helps! It's also youngest sons birthday that day, so that card goes in the post tomorrow. He moans like mad about his birthday being that day, but I just point out that that's his own fault, had he arrived on time, and not 13 weeks early, it would have been different. I also occasionally point out it could have been much, much worse. His one Gran kept saying we should name him Valentine! Over my dead body, lol. Anyway, Wednesday it is, so desks are being bared around the world as always, you can visit them over at Julias place, The Stamping Ground. Do pop in, we'd love to meet you.
 Organising, then.

Been making use of Beloved Hubbys labelling gadget, as I'd bought another of the Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink storage tins. They hold all sorts of reinkers too- Archival for instance, but not the DI ones, as they have a dropper top.
They also hold Stickles, and Liquid pearls, and as I picked up a few of those at the NEC last year, I needed another tin.

The one on it's side holds the newer AI Pearls, as they're supposed to be stored on their side, as they have a little mixing ball in them.

Also sorted and labelled my WOW embossing powders- please don't laugh!

Bottom shelf next to them is the Distress Oxide sprays, also on their side.

And so, I'm all done. No enabling this week!

Which brings us round to ......And Finally.......

That's some impressive sorting and labelling. I did some enabling for you this week; one of us has to keep up the mantle. Happy WOYWW. Helen #2

That gadget of Dougs looks mighty interesting. Looks as if it provides you with the perfect label, neat and crisp. I Love the fact that you have been reorganising/tidying and your photograph showing your embossing powders is very impressive.
Glad you have a plan for Friday's card, I haven't a clue - and I joined a swap for one as well. Woe is me, Pinterest gave me nothing in the ideas.
Hugs to you both, Neet 9 xx

Oh that coffee poster is so you, you need that on a suitcase so people you go and stay with know what to expect! No DELIBERATE enabling missus. I feel a little bereft in the embossing powder department now, I must say. I’m not laughing, so much as a bit green, and wondering how often you dig through them and have a grand session of colour embossing. How marvellous! I have a very similar set of similar depth shelves which hold all my potions, except ep..for some reason I’ve given them a shelf in a cupboard. Oh I know why....there aren’t many!!

Loving the Birthday card Shaz, my eldest son was due to be born on that day but he chose to be 10 days late :/ Still just as laid back now hee hee!!
The labelling machine is so useful, I use mine for all sorts of things and it's great for cards and journal pages when you just can't find the right words or sentiment. Hope your master plan for Valentines comes together nicely. Have a super day & Happy WoywW Hugs Tracey #10 xx

Love when my craftspace is organised and labelled and I think a little bit of reorganising would do me some good. Happy crafting and Valentines Day on Friday. X

I'm doing a whistle stop tour of all my favourite desks before I make my next Memory bear [and this one is for a very special little girl to take to her new adoptive home...what lovely jobs eh?].
I'm really impressed with the labelling...so organised. I drink a lot of 'water' too especially since we bought a new coffee machine at Christmas :-)

How wonderfully organised you are - I wouldn't be without my labelling machine and I have a feeling I bought it after seeing a post of yours about it in the past! In my house if anything stays still long enough it will be labelled!
Thanks for reminding me I have to make a Valentine's card!
Have a great week,

Wow - what a fab machine and gorgeous neat labels - we could all do with one of them but then I would have no excuses and would need to be a lot tidier if I knew exactly where everything had to go back!! NB - I am an early bird checking desks this week - no Tilly today! xx Jo

Oh just look at you getting all organized! Not this old broad...everything still looks the same here and I'm actually ashamed to show anything other than my desk as it would look like "Hoarders". I was actually on a team once called Hoarders Anonomus. I know that spelling is not right but you get the drift.

I have a cousin whose birthday is Valentine’s Day and I haven’t heard him complain about it. I actually think it is easier for people to remember to send him a card since they might be sending Valentine cards at the same time.

I chuckled into my hot bean water reading the joke, ( have I mentioned I love that you share these?) Ooh I love the labels too, what a time saver. I am thinking if I ever finish unmounting my stamps I am going to make dividers and stick labels to those. Someday :) Love how organized it looks Shaz, ~Stacy #30

Oh so tidy! I love neat storage solutions almost as much as the stuff stored in them! Had to laugh at the weekend when my husband happened to open a drawer in my work space (I think it was the one with all the different types of glues) and literally did a double-take...then said "That's...that's...quite a lot of stuff you have in there!" I told him it was his own fault for always saying "If you want it, get it!"

Wow! Shaz, that's impressive organisation and an impressive stash too. I've come to the conclusion that crafting = sorting on a more or less ongoing basis. Nice to be able to say your done and you can concentrate on creating now. Hugs, Elizabeth x #26

Fab birthday card! I have a funny story about birthdays on holidays. I dated a guy in high school whose birthday was on July 4, our Independence day. As a kid he thought all the celebrating was for him. Anyway, great organizing. And I like that kind of filtered water, too! Have a great week!

Your sorting is amazing and that labelling gadget is so fantastic. I like my water filtered through tea rather than coffee! Happy WOYWW. I hope you have a lovely week. With love and God bless, Caro xx (#19)

Love the storage! I have a labelmaker that I love as well, although it ran out of tape awhile ago and I've been using masking tape...must buy more labelmaker tape! Happy Valentines birthday to your son! It could have been worse, you could have named him Cupid! Thanks for your visit to mine, have a great day! Lindart #29

Oh wow Shaz, how organised is that!!! I adore the industrial look with the labelled tins - really cool. I was up in my studio this p.m. and thinking how terribly DISorganised it is at the moment - it needs a major overhaul and at the moment I just don't have either the time or the energy! I loved hearing about how your son so narrowly escaped being called Valentine... haha! At least his birthday's easy to remember! I love the birthday card you made. Thank you for your visit and I'm glad you like my various designs this week - and of course the kitties!

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Shaz, I bought a labelling machine after seeing how much someone on here used hers. I've used it quite a bit as my memory is quite shocking since my SCA. I do like being organised though, it makes it far easier to get crafting. I hadn't realised Valentines Day had sneaked up on me, and it's my brother's birthday tomorrow, so need to make 2 cards tonight! Have a lovely week, hugs Heather xx #33
