WOYWW #430

Whats on your Workdesk Wednesday, hosted by our lovely Julia over at The Stamping Ground, as always. Mine? Not a lot, to be honest. Just the stuff I've been working on over the weekend.
Another bunch of Stencil Paste & Hot Foil pieces, all of which are in the post below this. Tim Holtz layering stencils this time.

I did some sheets of foil on some scrap card, so I could try die cutting it for sentiments, and that worked fine too.

So now I have to turn a load of these pieces into cards, which will happen over the next few days..
But for now, I think I've foiled pretty much everything I can, maybe do some more when I've used up all these.

Not much more going on,  Thursday I have my first Radiotherapy treatment, and if the plan he spoke about goes as planned, it'll be three more next week, then one on the Monday after, and all done.
After that, I have the Tim Holtz Workshop to look forward to, followed the week after by our Crop meet in Llandudno.

And finally...................

Hi Shaz, hope all goes well with the radiotherapy. With any luck I'll be able to make it to the crop but my friend isn't sure yet so I'm leaving it closer to the time to confirm. I think the motto in your house should be 'If it doesn't move, it needs foil!' Don't forget to bring all the stuff you did with Sir Tim of Holtz to Llandudno, I can't wait to see the tags! I can soooo agree with the minion!

Hope all your sessions go ok. Hope that there are no delays and you are straight in to your treatments without having to hang around too much .... that's the debilitating bit.
Take care

Pretty looking foil letters! That must take a deft hand with a light touch. I've yet to try it myself.
Blessings on the radiotherapy, Shaz.

Best of luck with your radiotherapy Shaz. I just chuckled at Annie's comment about the foil - Imagined Doug as your knight in shining armour - which of course he is!! xx

Marit said...

I always wondered how that 'foil' would work/looks like... but I have too many stuff in the atelier already so I stay away from it and admire your pictures instead :) Good luck with the radiotherapy dear! Thanks for stopping by my blog the other day, love from Holland, Marit #26

Hi Shaz
I'm a bit behind. That foil effect is fabulous. I will have to look at your previous posts and see what that is all about :)
Hope the radiotherapy all goes smoothly.

Still a bit taken aback by quite how great the foiling has been - my word you have done some fantastic r&d...I rather suspect that using up these bakgrunds and words will be no trouble at all!
rooting for you, hope the treatment feels like a doddle. xx

Ha! Foiled again... Lol! Really sorry to hear about your shoulder - I've had shoulder problems and know just how painful it can be. Had physio and she gave me some exercises to do. Mine was due to crutch and wheelchair use getting the joint out of balance. So glad you've started your radiotherapy - hope it all goes smoothly and without too many side effects, and most of all, that it will completely deal with the problem and you can move on into full recovery! You've been through more than enough and have had a very rough few years. I've got another CT scan on Friday to check on the progress of my semi-hernia. I wish they'd just deal with it once and for all.

Thank you for your lovely comment - the kittens are rather adorable, aren't they! They are such fun.

Have a good week, and loads of love from us both,
