WOYWW #390

Only 3 more days till the crop! Yipee! Excited, much?
As my desk shows, I'm in mid organisation of stuff to take.
I have a plan, this time. Unusual, I normally just chuck a load of stuff in a box and wing it.
While I have been fairly prolific in card making recently, where I have been a bit tardy is in getting them ready to send out. You know, inserts stamped and attached, envelopes with them.
So thats my plan. Add inserts to all my cards, put them with matching envelopes, maybe stamp up a few gift tags. Bag up all the birthday cards to keep them protected.
You can see my list- the orange bit of paper. Yes, I admit, I need lists. Otherwise, I will forget something vital. Quite possibly the cards.
Considering what I plan to do, that should be simple, right?
The list so far, is Cards, Plain Paper, Paper Trimmer, Glue rollers,Peel offs, Envelopes, Pens, Tweezers, Reading Glasses, Inkpads, Stamps, Heat tool & Embossing Powder, Inkpads,Tags.... there will be something forgotten, I know. Oh, Dies, I'll be bringing them, so bring your cardstock. I can also bring Embossing Folders, if anyone is interested, again, bring your cardstock. Baby wipes and towel for cleaning stamps. I'm just glad I'm not planning to do something complicated! If anyone has seen anything stamped they like, let me know and I'll bring the stamps, you can stamp up some images then.
In other news, the Nuclear scan went fine, Fridays CT scan eventually went fine, when they could find a vein! 4 people, and both arms involved before they found one. Just have the Lung Function test to do now on the 28th.
OK, I think I've run out of stuff to say, so I'll be linking up at WOYWW Towers, The Stamping Ground, with our Hostess Julia.

I wish I was joining you all at the crop, but I cannot manage it this time. Next year, hopefully. My cards are made and the inserts in. I just need to print the address labels, stick those on, write the cards, and a letter for those that need it, and remember to post them. Oh yes, and take out a mortgage for the stamps I cannot avoid. Have a lovely time down south. xxx Maggie

I've been preparing a list too (so far only a mental one|)- you are much further ahead with me on your cards, I am still in the making stage.. been very lazy in the evenings, the sofa is too cosy! Looking forward to seeing you both on Saturday. Helen #?

Hi Shaz,
Oh I can't manage without lists! Lists for everything :)
I would SO love to be at your crop if it wasn't quite on the other side of the world! Have ordered a bunch of those cheap Chinese dies. I think that makes you The Enabler, doesn't it ? :)
Have a good weekend away.

Ooo-errr, Shaz. I think my little box of goodies to bring looks incredibly tiny compared with all your wonderful pile of stash and cards... I obviously need to add more to the pile!!! So glad the scans went ok - in the end! - trust the results will be good, too. No post from me this week as I am in charge tomorrow at Step Inside, our church Thursday café, so needed to get all the food organised, shopping done etc. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday.
Take care. Travel safely,
Margaret

Missed you this morning as I had to go out - blood test booked with a phlebotomist from the hospital at our surgery. I have always been glad of those ladies but this one went in 3 times and now my arm is bleeding a bit (because of Warfarin I know but normally does not bleed like this). You would think my monthly blood tests would be easy by now!
Nice to see you so organised for Saturday. Sad that I cannot go and if I had been going I would have asked you to please please lease give me a lesson on those Stampscapes you are so good at. Maybe one time.
Have a wonderful day with the girls, enjoy your stay with Jan and have a couple of cocktails for me.
Hugs, Neet 5 xx

Good morning Shaz. That is some list you have going on for yourself there and how fun it is going to be getting together at the crop with everyone. I have never been to a crop but sounds like such fun when friends go. Glad to hear your tests went well minus the find a vein game that seemed to be played. Lol. Saying a pray that the results come in with great news for you. Thanks for visiting me earlier and have a wonderful week. Hugs Always ~Anne L#2

Yes, when I get ready to mail a card it takes me as long to stamp the inside and envelope as it did to make the card itself! I am trying to be better about it! Love how organized you are being. Oh, thank you for stopping by already! You are quick! I hardly posted my blog and you had commented! LOL Thank you! #40

Looks very organized to me! I'm another who must make lists in an attempt to not forget things (and stay focused!). Am also in the same camp with the card inserts, as I don't make an insert until I'm ready to mail the card. Hence, at Christmas, a mad scramble to finish up the cards made all year and mail out timely. Your desk doesn't look untidy, just lots of organization of your 'schtuff'. TFS (and also becoming a new follower! I gave you a welcome shoutout with a link to your marvelous blog). Hugs
