Less is more- Yellow & Green Challenge

I decided to have a go at this challenge, as a few of the cards I've made lately have a lot of white space ( a requirement), and have been almost one layer, with no embellishments (another requirement, the no embellies).  The only other part of the brief is to use Yellow & Green this week.So I resist embossed some Dragonflies again, ( Clear embossing ink and WOW Bright White EP), and sponged on Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed Di's, along with Adirondack Citrus, then Mowed Lawn, Shabby Shutters and a little Peeled Paint. This time I tried it without masking the Dragonflies to overstamp the water Droplets , in Mowed Lawn.  It works well, as when you wipe any ink off the Dragonflies, the droplets seem to be behind their wings. One tip, if you use DI to stamp the droplets with, blot them with a piece of kitchen towel first before wiping over the embossing, as the DI stays wet a bit longer than normal ink, and will smudge. This strip was the second attempt- I tried embossing with a sparkly white EP the first time.

It doesn't look too bad in this picture, but up close, some of the EP rubbed off with the sponging. I also used Designs by Ryn Raindrops on this one. But I have a plan for it, so all is not wasted.
 Supplies:
 Papermania Urban Stamps, Dragonflies
Designs by Ryn, Raindrops and Water Droplets
 WOW Bright White EP
Clear embossing pad/Versamark pad
DI in Squeezed lemonade, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint,Shabby Shutters and Mowed Lawn
 Adirondack Citrus pad
I meant to put this in yesterdays post- the desk in mid-create!

Love your fabulous creativity-in-progress desk :) Beautiful card for the LIM challenge and wondered how many more shades of green and yellow you could have fit on there :) All those colours but they blended in together wonderfully well and look good with the dragonflies.

What deliciously bright colours! The droplets are gorgeous too - I need to read back and find out how you did them.
Happy LIMing!

Thanks for your reply Shaz! You're not far from me, just up the M5/6. I must look out for the/a water droplet stamp, because you've showcased it so beautifully. :)
