Less than two weeks to the Birthday Crop- I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone! Me & Beloved Hubby are driving down on Friday afternoon/evening, and staying with the lovely LLJ, who has offered us a bed. Staying over Saturday night too, and going to visit some of the local places, like Avebury before going home.Bringing some ATC's with me too, to do some swaps. Haven't decided what to bring with me to do yet-fortunately, (or not) depending on your viewpoint, we have a 4x4, rofl!
For all the info about the crop, ATC Swap, and general WOYWW madness, wander over to Julias place, at The Stamping Ground, and join in the fun.
This weeks offering, still cluttered with stuff from my shadow stamping & making your own shadow stamp posts. You can see how that worked out in the previous posts.
I think I will mount thecircles & so on onto Kling-on, just keep the embossed ones as they are, that should help with the smudge issues.
This is the table behind my desk- the idea of having this was to cope with the overspill when I'm cardmaking! I always seem to have so many folders out- stamps, vellum, dies etc, plus tools & cleanup stuff, it used to be all over the desk, the floor- you name it. At least now I can have it handy, but not in the way.
Now a piccie from the garden the other day-
Ambrose completely disinterested in the squirrel, gorging himself on the fatballs.
I'd just finished filling the planters on the right. Those stacking plastic ones are from one of the pound stores/99p stores. I've filled these with herb seeds, and the Orange thyme, Oregano & Marjoram are sprouting already. I love herbs, they smell gorgeous, and the bees & butterflies adore them too. Have a great Wednesday, see you all later.

Your creative area & desk always inspires me. Thank you for sharing Ambrose with us. Can't wait to hear about the crop.
Hi Shaz
Been following your shadow stamping and even found my fun foam and got some shapes cut out! So hard to pack for a trip and want to "play" at the same time. LOL I love your planter for the Herbs. I agree about the fragrance they put out and they just taste so much better when fresh. So far I just have Basil, Rosemary and Mint, they are ones I use all the time. BUT I do have about 6 tomatoes on my little plant...LOL

There is nothing like the sound of bees droning lazily over the herb bed! I laughed at Ambrose, my cat Harry was doing much the same with a wood pigeon yesterday!
I ADORE those oriental shadow cards in your previous post...they are by far my favourites this week. Gorgeous, simple and elegant....just like me..........ROFL!!
Hugs, LLJ 40 xxxx
Love your garden, e great idea to put the herbs in those planters. Hope the kitty agrees =)
Oooh, loving your herb tubs, they will be fabulous and such a great way to attract the bees and butterflies. Hope you have a lovely time at LLJ's and the crop! Happy WOYWW, Anne x #54
We always have craft overspill here, no matter how much room we allow and how much storage we have!
Thanks for visiting the bears this week
You've gotta love a pound store. Those planters look way more expensive! I can't wait to meet you at the crop. How exciting it so be.
Thanks for visiting me earlier. Happy WOYWW.
Cheers, Rachel #65
Hi Shaz, pound store thats music to my ears lol I love a good bargain and those tubs look buzzing!! Thanks for sharing your funky foam stamping cards these look good fun and so quick and easy to do. Thanks for stopping by earlier. Hugs Mo x #60
Love your shadow stamping. I need to try that. happy crafting #3
Thanks for visiting me Shaz, just to make you feel better I have hand washed the offending articles, and have had comments from others agreeing that hand washing seems to make no difference, so don't feel guilty about machine washing.

Hi Shaz
are you sure the 4x4 is going to be big enough if you need a seperate desk for overspill?
Loving the things out on your desk lots of great stuff to look at
Sending hugs and hoping you have a great day

LOL at the lazy cat not bothered by the squirrel and oooh to those fabby planters from the pound store, they were a real find!
Have emailed you my address for the ATC swap!! Annette #23
I have to ask, Shaz, how long it will be before that overflow table stays covered with taller piles of goodies. When Geoff built my desk, I foolishly thought I would have loads of room to do all I needed. Wrong, I am still crafting in a tiny space. I am hoping to, at least, clear a space to my craft computer for the Tech Dept. to get through, and have room to work. See you soon. xx Maggie
WOW Shaz awesome pics this week. Desks look busy as usual! I wish I could make it over for the crop but £1000 air fare plus accomodations costs are more then I can afford this week. I will be there in spirit. Love those pots you got at the pound store. I wish I could find them around here but have never seen them before. I love an herb garden it smells so awesome. I thought the squirrel was a statue! Ambrose is really indifferent isn't he! I didn't get around last week much so promised myself I would visit everyone that visited me. Have a great week! Vickie #26
Nice busy desk! I haven't done shadow stamping in ages.... And I love the photo of your cat casually watching the squirrel. What a hoot!
Happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting!

I'm certainly jealous you're going to the crop, I couldn't make everything work on my trip to England but would love to go! You'll have a blast staying with Jan!! The shadow stamping from the previous post is brilliant, I've seen other folks make their own and I have some fun foam in a drawer somewhere!
Thanks for popping in,
Hugs
Brenda
I'll have to go back a bit and catch up on the shadow stamping. Oh you have my fave kind of storage boxes...really useful boxes! :) Thanks for stopping by.

Hello Shaz! Love how you have your crafting area set up like command central! I have mine set up very similar and love it! Your shadow stamp creations are so pretty! Happy WOYWW! ♥ Sue Kment
Cute kitty. So funny that he is not interested in the squirrel. Lol. April #131
I'd forgotten all about shadow stamping...must give it a go again. I do love your organised layout and all that storage. What a gorgeous cat! Happy belated WOYWW and thanks for stopping by yesterday. Pam#20
G'day Shaz
thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment for WOYWW. Oh goodness your art areas are neat...I wish I had more room to spread out but for now it's one desk, the floor and the bed behind me!! I too haven't shadow stamped for years...love your posts regarding it too. I have a totally white cat but Ambrose looks cute and I love the squirrel!!
hugs

I love desks like your that are near windows, my craft room is in a dundgeon under the house so the windows are tiny and up high in the ceiling.
Bridget #11
Hi Shaz, love the cat ignoring the squirrel pic! Mine 'talks' to them, and can't understand how they always know he's there loL!!
sorting the house out is hard work! And so is keeping my craft desk tidy - already slipping on that one :-(
Happy woyww

Hi, Shaz, thanks for the visit. Yes, I'll have to make some swatch tags with all my non-distress inks (including the new archivals) so I know what I will get. I do have tags for all the distress inks already. Your shadow stamping post was great! Hope everyone has a blast at the crop! Happy WOYWW from Laura #107
Is fatballs suet? I am shocked that Ambrose wasn't more interested in the squirel!! lol Lucky squirel! OK, I am asking my WOYWW folks to rally behind me and I truly need your support. I am in a contest and the voting ends today so it's now or never. PLEASE go vote for me ( the camera )....yes, I am begging, lol http://www.genuinelyjanestudios.com/genuinelyblog/gjs-design-a-book-contest-top-three-finalists-announced/
