This week has flown past- it never feels like there's 7 days between one WOYWW and the next! As always, we meet at Julias place, The Stamping Ground, to share our desks/floors/whatever with the world. Feel free to join in, we always love to see a new desk- and desker!
On Friday we are off to this years Download Festival, at Donnington Park, although from the weather forecast, I have a nasty feeling it's going to be more Downpour than Download.☔☔☔
Made these over the weekend. Post below.
These were the two cards I made at the crop that I forgot to photograph last week.
Very teeny bit of enabling this week, paid The Range another visit for
another look at those mini dies, and realised that I have almost no dies
suitable for baby cards.
Elizabeth( Altered Book Lover) will like one, I'm sure. Didn't spot the Birthday Wishes one last time I was there. One thing buying the baby ones did, when I got home, was jog my memory
about having a few suitable Quickutz dies, you remember the ones for the
Squeeze tool? So I found the folder they were in, and actually got
quite a surprise at what I had- a couple of Christmas ones, a car
key-make a great new driver card-a cameo, slider buckles, and two
alphabets,as well as 3 or 4 Baby themed ones. And they work just like
the wafer thin metal dies too, so can run them through any die cutter.
And so I think thats all from me, so it just leaves.......And Finally.............................

your and finally did make me laugh today... nope, not me! those Range goodies are fun, I am sure Elizabeth will love the rocking horse one as you say... Hope you don't get TOO soaked at the weekend.... will look out for FB updates! Helen #9
Laughed out loud again at the and finally Shaz. Great set of cards. I like the TH mixed media dies too. Happy WOYWW hope you don't get too wet at the weekend. Sarah #7
LOVE the rocking horse die. To die for in fact!! I don't consider it for babies, though. You know how much any rocking horse is a good horse in my book. Does this mean I'm in my second childhood?
Loved the craft room funny. It hit home with some, I'm sure. Happy WOYWW from # 8.
Lol at the And Finally! Actually, it was me wot cleared up this week as I had a lot to put away after Crop. Nice new stash there, I guess that you only need new baby stuff at certain times! Hope the weather improves for Download but I'd take your wellies, sou'wester and handy boat if I were you.....
Hugs LLJ 2 xxx
I'll have to jump on the "And Finally" bandwagon next time LOL! Loving those colourful quote cards and good to see that someone actually created something at the crop! Have a lovely week, Shaz! zsuzsa #20
You always have something to give us each week Shaz, whilst I wallow in my incompletes. Fab little makes and I have to agree the range has some great bargains to pick up on if we don't get distracted with all the other crafty bargains to be found. Was thinking of you regarding download, we always call it downpour! I hope the weather makes a dramatic change from what is forecast but i'm sure you will enjoy it no matter what the weather. It's a good feeling when festival season is on the horizon and friends come out of hiding again.
Enjoy no matter the weather & Happy WoywW Tracey #3
You manage to find a better craft quote each week. Lovely to see you were able to make a few cards at the crop while still having a fun time catching up with everyone.

As for your and finally this week....I did tidy up all the scraps left over from cutting out the Memory bears....does that count?
Hope you enjoy your Downpour....ooops I mean Download.
Hugs

How cute! Love the final saying of Guess Who Finally Cleaned Their Craft Room. I really need that posted over my space for sure!

Not me too Shaz, laughed out loud from Downunder...when read it did you hear me! I certainly haven’t! My desk work part yes, room no!
I’d send Elizabeth lots of die cuts don’t think, but you can check that she’s has a die cutter. Pray Download doesn’t downpour.
Love the dies,Shaz, big hugs from Oz..
Thanks for sharing, Shaz in Oz.x #22
PS just realising I may not be here next WOYWW. Dental appt. failed root canal bottom molar, that’s broken off and is a problem. It needs extraction, will see how week goes, as its Wed arvo as it was best day.. best done, then it’s no more issue.
Leg wounds are healing just take more time, meds slows things up, so you learn patience.

I think I am going to have to treat PJ to a toasted teacake!!! (when we go to the Range)
Love those tiny dies ....
Have a good week

Love your "Finally ..." - sadly not me either!
Cream Crackers - I eat them dry. Great if you feel sickly or hungry on the hoof. I loved the Aldi ones and then they changed them to a tasteless sort so now am back with Jacobs. Just the plain ones in the orange packet. Trouble is I eat them like a donkey with strawberries
Off to look at your post below as I like the cards you made over the weekend. Looks a bit like alcohol Inks to me - will see. Lovely Crop cards too - great dies you have used - meant to cut some whilst at the crop but forgot with nattering,
Enjoy your Donnington Park Festival - I know you will.
Saw a different GP yesterday (my usual one rang me the night before to see how I was and made the appointment the day after with Dr Ali) and he is my new best friend. He rang me at 10 am today and had spoken with Cardiology at the hospital and they came up with a three point lan. Am on the first idea now and if it doesn't work we go to the second and so on. Am feeling really hopeful at last!
Hugs to you both, Neet 1 xx
Love those inky backgrounds for the quote cards!
Love the funny, Shaz! Lol! (It certainly wasn't me... mine's the usual dumping ground while it's not being used.) Lovely dies and cards and everything this week! Thank you for your visit. Glad you enjoyed the kitty pics. The weeks will fly by till I get the new wheelchair. Can you tell me, did you have to have a face-to-face assessment for your PIP? I'm glad it went through OK for you, anyway. I'm trying not to worry about it but it's been a huge stain doing the form.
Happy WOYWW,

Your and finally made me laugh out loud! Love all the cards you have made - gorgeous. Happy WOYWW. Love & God Bless, Caro x(#19)
Great cards!!
And great dies! I have very few baby themed stamps or dies.
Love the quote, but I do find I have to clean the paper poop on the floor on a regular basis... LOL!
Thanks for popping by and have a great week!

Hi Shaz. Busy lady, loving the cards. I believe the weather is due to improve, I hope so as we are going to the Lincolnshire Show next week and I don't fancy getting soaked. Have a lovely week and a fun woyww, Angela x13x
Hi Shaz, hope the weather at the weekend turns out to be better than you anticipate. You did well to get any cards made at the crop - I managed very little of the tapestry I took with me - too much chat and very little concentration! I'm a great fan of the tiny dies from the Range but, like you, I don't have many suitable for baby cards. Have a fab week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #26
Hi Shaz, yep I still have some of those old QK dies and embossing folders. ( but the 2" square folders I really don't use much anymore) Ha, I laughed over the joke too. ~Stacy #32
Hi Shaz, hope the weather isn't too bad at Download. I love the cards you made with the Inkylicious dies - I would have liked to send a card to one of my team who has been off a few weeks, but Get Well Soon wasn't really appropriate, so I might look at something similar for the future. Thanks for stopping by earlier- my desk looks worse tonight than last night, but I will clear it all away tomorrow night. Love your and finally ... I do clean mine, but only a "proper" clean when it's being used as a guest room. Have a lovely week, hugs Heather xx #12
hope the rain eases for you on Friday have a great time whatever. Great work love the colours and the saying on the first picture cards are lovely
lilian B #14
Yes I think downpour was probably right! Love the and finally - I don't know where I would start with mine. xx Jo
I LOVE those cards with the sentiments, the uplifting texts are fitting for a lot of people to send to, and the way you stemped them on the coloured paper and matted them is lovely! Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. Happy - belated - woyww, hug from Holland. Marit #21
Lots of bright colours and sentiments on your desk this week, thanks for your visit and comment Happy WOYWDW #28
I know just what die Elizabeth would like! Lovely cards! I just bought a die similar to the cards you made with the peek-a-boo, great idea! I love the colors you used in your first set of cards! You are right the weeks just seem to go by faster and faster, and before we know it, it's Wednesday again! Thanks for your earlier visit, have a great week! Lindart #30
Thanks for your reply, Shaz. It obviously didn't make too much of an impression on you if you can't remember for sure if you had a face-to-face - that's really good! I'm glad it went through for you without the usual hassle.
