WOYWW #506-The Cheat Edition

Yes, I have to admit that this weeks desk for WOYWW over at The Stamping Ground, is a bit of a cheat. Staged, you see. Because what's actually on it, is Hubbys Valentines card, and as he reads my blog, I can't show it yet.
So this is a throwback to Sunday, when I stamped onto some of the Bleeding Art Tissue pieces.

These two I added some extra colour to the butterflies with the Prismacolor pencils.

There's a post about the whole process below this one. Another to come as I make them up into cards.

Something I actually got last week, and forgot to include, was this colouring book. Got it in Tesco. I've since seen it in WHSmiths too.

Full of awesome images, including some in Greyscale.

Only worked on one image so far, I'll photograph it when I've finished.

Then Doug spotted another cool one on Amazon, and that arrived yesterday. 4 different books in one- Mermaids, Fairies, Vampires & Dragons. What's not to like?
Reckon those will keep me occupied for a while. 😁

And so, that just leaves
................................................
And Finally........................................................

It's on the Internet, so it must be true!

It's so clever that tissue, Shaz, we had a bleeding batch at work once brought by mistake, the Parents were not happy when they saw their children's stained hands hee hee!! Love what you created with it, woodware stamps are fab.
You'll enjoy colouring in those books, I never understood the greyscale ones either??
Hope you have a great Valentines, Hubby & I are not doing cards anymore, like Christmas we are recycling the previous one :))
Happy WOYWW Tracey xx

Hi Shaz, I might have sparked you off to get the Bleeding tissue out but you have certainly beaten me in the run up to getting it used, I've just been distracted by other stuff. Like the colouring books too. Happy woyww, Angela x5x

Morning Shaz. I still haven't looked up the bleeding tissue technique - but will actually get around to looking one of these days!! Love the effects you have got now they are stamped - they will look good as cards. Well done. Enjoy all that colouring - finish those and you will have been EXCEEDINGLY industrious!
As for the "and finally"... brilliant - sitting here chuckling. I can never find anything remotely interesting and fun like that. Good job someone can - thank you.
Take care. God bless.

I've seen quite a bit of this bleeding tissue (I always say this in a Sid James voice in my head, it makes me laugh!) on the desks recently, it looks great fun for minimum effort - my sort of crafting! The And Finally is a cracker again, as much as I'm getting through my stash, I keep getting gifted more..it's like the Magic Porridge Pot, lol....

Hi Shaz, I love the quote, very true, ha,ha,

Looking forward to seeing your finished colouring from your book, what will you use them for? or is it just for relaxation? I'm not good at colouring so they would be wasted on me.
Have a great week

Good Morning, So many beautiful things. Went back a few post as I've been MIA last week. Glad to read about the stamp cleaner. I always clean my stamps and this past week was trying. Toothbrush and dawn soap finally took care of the issue. Black and I had lots of stamps. Hope you enjoy some good weather
Have a good week . #19 hAPPY heaRT DaY.

I'd love to be able to draw like those fantasy figures. They are beautiful, what fun you will have colouring them. Do you do anything with the pages when you have coloured them in?
Great to see an array of your tissue cards - I really should get on with doing something like this - wonder about a journal page background? Mmmm food for thought.

HI Shaz, ooh fun looking books ( are you going to take the colored pieces out later and use them on something?) I have collected a stack of coloring books and not done a single thing in any of them because, part of my brain says the scale will not fit on a card later and I have this ( its probably the same hangup I have about art journals) that I make something cool in it and I want to do something with it after.
Strange I know.
Love how the color flows on the tissue stamped pieces too. ~Stacy #30

Hi Shaz, sorry for the late visit. The colouring books look great, I need to buy some new ones so I may have to check them out. Not heard of the bleeding tissue, but your butterflies look gorgeous. Thanks for stopping by - the Stampmaker is fiddly and fussy, and not all the results are good, but after a bit of trial and error I did end up with a few useable ones. Have a lovely week Heather x #23

Lovely card. I was a bad wife. Failed to make one for Bob to hide in his bag before he left. Great tip using the TH platform to stamp on that textured cardstock. Love those coloring book images! Have fun. Creative Blessings! Kelly #21
