WOYWW #497 -The Glittery Edition.

The desk in full mid-create! Been doing some stencil paste pieces- some backgrounds, and also stencilling onto a few of the Brusho sheets from the other week.
An assortment of holly backgrounds, mostly with added glitter. Apart from the Black one, which I intend to foil.

This was a new stencil I bought at Happy Stampers- I quite like the one on the Brusho sheet, looks like a blizzard in the background.

These are some older stencils which I will probably foil too.

I don't often buy craft magazines, but I liked the  Embossing Folder with this one, and the Father Christmas stamps with the second one.
I also picked up the TONIC magazine/box, as you got the Embossing folder, plus a set of dies. It's an outer star that fits the EF, plus has an inner star you have a sentiment in, but that can easily be snipped out, and 4 different corner dies, which can also be used to cut the shapes into the outer star, so gives you a lot of options.

Not bought much in Christmas sales, but Craft Stash had a special one day of two EF's for a £5, so got these two Christmas and two Birthday ones. Good sizes too, 6"x6", and 5"x7".

While sorting through my photo files, I found this one, the stuff I got at the Motorcycle Museum Craft show.  That cardstock is awesome, a fab 'oil on water' look to it.

Off to leave my link over at Julias place, The Stamping Ground.

So that's me about done, just leaves......And Finally........

Some of you have probably seen this on Facebook, sharing here as it did make me laugh!

What an amazing share today, so much creativity and things to play with. I'm feeling mine has lost the plot recently but I do take a peep at the sales if i'm online. Happy WOYWW Tracey #7

Forgot about my 'sales' purchases - must show another time - but then I wrapped some up thinking about it - present from him to me.
Lots of lovely Christmas things on your desk, love the sign post and yes, does look good with the Brusho background.
Need to get back in my craftroom but cannot see it happening this side of New Year. Have to first get the house back to some normality.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx

There's no stopping you! You've only just distributed your Xmas cards and you're back to creating more! Even though I'm not a cardmaker I do fall for those free stamps and dies in cardmaking magazines too! I know they're not "free" since you're paying for the magazine, but they're still very good value. Why can't the Craft Stamper magazine have proper freebies? They only have a teenie little stamp every other issue - and not very good ones either. I prefer the magazine for its mixed media content, but I also want the free stuff that comes with the cardmaking magazines. Such a dilemma! Have a lovely week, Shaz! zsuzsa #14

First of all, thanks for the gorgeous card! I’ve been .using brushes this week too...omgee they make me make a mess! Mind you, I don’t have the staying power that you have for making a whole bunch of backgrounds at a time. Love the lamp post stamp on all the backgrounds, but I think you’re right about the brusho ground. Isn’t it interesting how different the same thing looks on different grounds! I bought a tonic set last month, it was an incredible bundle of dies and stamps, I actually used one of them to make some cards!!

Hi Shaz,
OOh fun stacks of backgrounds and seeing your desk from this angle really makes me think I should clear more off the edges of mine since I have piles and stacks everywhere I look again at the moment and that joke made me laugh out loud too :) ~Stacy #22

My goodness you are busy creating, Shaz! Thank you for including us in your production line - the card you sent is gorgeous - so nice to see one of your special multi-layered ones in person - so clever lining everything up like that! I love your funny this week, especially the last bit hahahs!!! Thank you for your visit - I agree wtih Doug generally speaking aboutr reinstalling Windows - I usually format the hard drive every year or two, normally in January when things are quieter and less busy, and I could have done without all the hassle just now! I'm still working on things because it's not all back to normal yet. So glad you like the peacock stuff as much as I do - I adore all things peacock! My sister used to have them and gave me a whole lot of feathers but they've been put away because they don't mix with kitties! I thought I might experiment with some of them and see if I can replicate what they did with theirs on the Christmas tree because they were so gorgeous.

Seeing my surgeon tomorrow - think of me at lunch time!! My hubby sends his love and says thanks for the card too.

Happy WOYWW,

Hi Shaz, love all your background pieces and what you've done with some. That signpost stamp is fabulous - so useful - and like you I like the 'blazzard' look of the Brusho piece. Enjoyed your 'and finally' too. I knew that fact about the reindeer and, as the map reader here, got to agree with that last part. Have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #18

The article definitely made me chuckle- how true! Nice new toys to play with, and your projects all look great! You have been very busy creating!
I hadn't heard of a Tuxedo Cat before, but it's right on! I never thought of it! The hissing has been reduced to a slight hiss and a glare, and hopefully the two of them will soon be romping the house together. Thanks for your visit, Lindart #20
