Hubbies card is based on the design for our Wedding Invites, using the same colours and fold.
The second card was asked for by a friend at work, for a gay couple of her friends getting married, as she couldn't find anything suitable in the shops.
I used a Chocolate baroque stamp, Harlequin Rose, that had been stamped onto Transparency film, then glittered. I layered it over some gold card embossed with hearts. Some Wedding vellum and white ribbon on the left, and dry embossing from a Glitter Girls Embossing board on the right. Finally added a few half pearls to the embossing, and a couple of satin hearts to the image.

Just awesome Shaz! I am sure your hubby loved his card. Love the way you incorporated the 4 onto it and that it tied into your invite style! Your friend is going to flip for this second card. It is stunning. The focal image is so pretty and the white embossed panel really sets it off. I have made cards for family and friends who are marrying and they can't find suitable ones in the store either. It always makes me happy to do so. I was lucky to see one of my cards framed in my friends apartment as she was thrilled to have one tailored to her and her wife. She still talks about the tiny rainbow ribbon knot tied around a heart charm. Awesome Shaz!!
