Morning all, I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't believe how fast these weeks go! Seems like only yesterday we were all over at Julia's Stamping Ground, perusing blogs near & far! My desk hasn't changed a lot over the last week, it's still Glitter Central. You may have seen the post I did over the weekend with some more images I stamped up & started glittering, so I'm still working through those. As well as a few more medallions, I've stamped up some Harlequin Rose, guitars, a Cross medallion type stamp from Creative Expressions and a whole
bunch of different butterflys.
Anyone who did see it, and my info about the Woodware glue bottles, I had a couple of people warn me that the pin that seals the top of the bottle has a tendency to rust after a while, discolouring your glue. So if you keep your glue in these, be warned! I usually empty my mini- bottles when I'm completely done glittering, pouring the glue back into the larger bottle it came out of, and wash them out.
Marg (Maggie, Silvercrafter) asked me to thank all those who have sent her condolences, good wishes & cards, until she is able to get around again & thank everyone herself. I passed on the messages some of you left in my comments last week for her too. As you would expect, she has good moments, bad ones, good days & bad. She has put a post on her blog over the last week about Geoff, and it includes a very important message that we often lose sight of in our busy daily lives.
Take
time throughout your life to laugh and make good memories. In the end,
they are what hold you together in the bad times. My wonderful husband
died suddenly on Sunday, and my happy memories and all the wonderful
tributes and memories are a great comfort. I am lucky to have incredible
children and friends and we will get through. Do all you can to fill
your lives with joy from the simple things of life. If anyone tries to
put you down or upset you, remember that they are not as lucky as you.
xx
Anyone who wants to leave her a message, please visit her, I know all the messages from friends mean a lot to her. See you all later, xx

Waving hi from the bears @#78 this week.
So you are still glittering - I have been put off glitter for a while, as I used so much of it for Christmas but I like it so it will soon find its place on my desk again!
Lots of hugs,
Cardarian
So sad to hear Maggie's news. Thanks for letting me know. I missed it with being ill and being in Holland.

So, we're ATC virgins together then???? Lol! I've got to get my act together as I'm going to make small fabric ones but time is slipping, slipping, into the future...... ;)
Love all the glittery gorgeousness...there's no such thing as too much bling. I can be sooooo tacky when I want to!! Love what's on your desk, those medallions are lush!
Hugs, LLJ 37 xxxx

PS Please pass on my best wishes to Maggie. My thoughts are with her.
I am loving your glitter work, that cross image is amazing. Thanks for the kind visit! Maybe we should develop a black ink pad that does it all, it would be a fab thing! (Hubby found out the hard way and tried to surprise me with a card and he used the wrong black with the YELLOW copic and what a mess. Poor dear. Now I keep a key on the way for him should the urge strike him again! ) Winnie #76
Your glittering is so beautiful! I don't know Maggie, but I love what she wrote. We all need to heed her advice.

Hi Shaz, sorry to hear the sad news but I missed last week. I will send Maggie a message.
You certainly are queen of the glitter techniques, I just haven't got the knack and patience. Really loved the guitar piece though. Gill x #82

You are the Queen of Glittering, my girl!! My gob is rightly smacked at these beauties!!
Thank you for coming by to visit me and thank you for the update on Maggie. Her words are so, so wise. Have a wonderful week! Darnell #32
Thanks for stopping by and for your comments. Goodness, HOW much patience you must need for those pictures!! They are beautiful. Well done.

Happy WOYWW.
Good glittering, I haven't done any for a while and I have sooo much glitter!
Thanks for the advice on comments, yes I have tried changing it (I tried all three different options for showing comments), one option worked but only for days before comments vanished completely, nobody could comment! The other option worked and I thought it was solved then weirdly comments vanished for posts with no previous comments, so any new posts, the intrepid determined ones told me they could only comment on an old post, I worked it out that if the post had a comment already you could comment, but not otherwise - total pants! So I had to revert it to the one I have now which sort of works!

You've been glitter up a storm! Funny, I never use really glitter, only stickles, but you've inspired me to give it a go!
Glitter and me, we are not very good friends, glitter wants to do a house tour, me doesn't want it too. Some people can get it right others struggle, me I struggle. LOL
I love your crosses.
Happy WOYWW

G'day Shaz
I'm running late but thanks for stopping by my desk. Guest has arrived early so no WOYWW for me next week. OMG I used to have a serious addiction to glue and glitter back in the day so much so I thought when I die they would say I had glitterosis of the lungs LOL. It just seems to get all ove you and the house. Have fun with yours!
hugs

Hi Shaz, loving your glittering, and your step-by-step is really helpful. I haven't glittered for ages, so you have inspired me to play :-)
