WOYWW #528- The Not a lot Happening Edition.

And there isn't much happening, I'm afraid.
Feeling very 'can't be bothered at the moment. Not ill, apart from a dry mouth driving me nuts, but what's that in the great scheme of things? Just very can't be asked.
So I'm afraid today I will be mostly enabling.😉Follow up from last weeks Sizzix Sale mention, my goodies arrived. Lots of great bargains there, many half price, or even way less. Still on, by the way. The BS Caddy, for instance, £4.50, instead of £17.99. And anyone thinking about getting a TH Sidekick, now's your chance, they're £22.50 on there, which is half price. (Page 4, I think, lol).

My Gnomes stamps, from Chocolate Baroque arrived, called A Tomte Christmas.

Someone on FB posted a pic of this stand available on Amazon, for holding those PF, or the cheaper version, brushes. Comes flatpacked, you just have to put it together.

I'll be a little late visiting some people, as I have a Diabetic Eye Test Screening mid-morning, which involves drops that blur your vision, so will be a while before I can see clearly enough to type, I expect.
And I'm done here, now. Leaving my link over at Julia's place, The Stamping Ground, and I will gradually get around to everyone.

I really hope your eye test goes well....I had a reaction to the eye drop they use so they now have to do the tests without using the drops for me.

Ah dear Shaz, I have that eye test too, have optic atrophy, thankfully stable but have it regularly too, and visual fields done as well as exam. Seems drops are variable, sometimes fine, sometimes irritating plus. By the way When I’ve dry mouth I such ice blocks a lot, mostly just plain as ice seems to settle it where water does not. I’ve a type of diabetes (Diabetes Insipidus), affects kidneys not pancreas (& insulin) and related to pituitary inactivity. Our bodies are complex things, mercifully aided in so many ways!
Praying side affects ease.. and no nasty ones develop.
Well, loving look of your collection, think the one that grabs me the most, is the brush holder. However have container for them, flat one, and don’t buy on Amazon anyway. I spy the Sizzix die set you gave me last year too that swirl set, a lovely set (thank you❤️)..

Hope pray you’re up to crafting next week, Shaz. I’m sharing something did end of last week... so did make it after all. Am off to bed now though. Am not grand.
Thanks for being a blessing, dear Shaz, and may the dear Lord bless you too.
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x #22

Hi Shaz, hope your eye app went ok and you can see clearly again. I would defo get that Sidekick if I didn't have one already. Darn it, I hate to miss a good deal. I'll check out the rest of the offerings as TH/Sizzix stuff very rarely go on sale for us in the UK. Sorry I haven't been around for a while - been busy and off the grid, but I'm back today! Happy Wednesday! zsuzsa #23

How are you getting on with those brushes? I bought a small generic set. It is a different "feel" isn't it? I happened to mention to my friend that I like the largest size the best. Today, I received a Happy Mail package of 10 large size brushes! Happy Wednesday (barely)

Oh those gnomes look like a lot of fun! I liked your title about not a lot going on at your craft desk. I thought that mine has tons going on, just not a lot is getting finished. Lots of things going in the trash this week. Oh well, maybe I will find my groove soon. Hope your eye test went well.

Not sure what you meant on my blog - are your eyes watering from the drops or from laughing at the thoughts of me and the flakes? Good luck with the screening results anyhow.
The stand for the make-up brushes looks interesting - would have to get some of the brushes first.
Looks like a great haul from Sizzix, I haven't been in the mood for buying in ages but I did have a quick look. Maybe when this pain settles another day. Was tempted by the stamps though.
Think I have your can't be bothered at the moment - must be catching,
Hugs, Neet 1 xx

I'm not really surprised that you are feeling a bit 'can't be botheredish' at the moment, but am glad that you are not feeling too ill apart from the dry mouth (although that can be very irritating). Love your enabling as ever and thanks for visiting. Have a great week. With love & God Bless, Caro x (#14)

Hi Shaz, hope your tests go ok. I got side tracked by the Sizzix sale, but I am going to be good and resist. You got some great items though. Thanks for stopping by earlier. I have lots of ribbons, but never really use them. I'll try one on the sympathy card. Have a lovely week Heather xx #11

Heyhey Shaz, finally getting a chance to pop in at blogs. I really like those gnome stamps, so folkartsy! I began using those blending brushes and so far they are fun. But I still want to reach for my Tim blending tool and my finger daubers, so maybe I'll stay with all 3 since I'm fully invested, lol. Have a good one! See you on Facecrack! hahaha xoxo

So sorry i'm late Shaz, what was meant to be a few chores spiralled into a little bit more this week, so popping on over to see how you are and say Thank you for your early visit. Hope the eyes are back to normal no? I too politely ignored your sizzix sale info, I have over spent this month as it is but i'm very impressed with your purchases, I love those media dies.
Happy belated WoywW & have a smashing weekend Hugs Tracey#8 xx

I love the brushes you have there in that holder... and I'm glad your vision came back quickly, hence the comment on my blog earlier this week. I am again a bit late with my visit but hey, at least it IS still in this week ;) Hope you have a lovely weekend, hug from Holland. Marit #20

Sorry to hear you're not feeling much up to doing anything at all at the moment. Sometimes the best you can do is rest and recuperate. Hope the eye test went well. I like the two caddies you've found - it's good to keep all those tiny tools tidy and in one place. If I knew what a TH Sidekick is then perhaps it's something I couldn't possibly live without, LOL. Hope you've had a great weekend. Hugs, Elizabeth x #24

Thank you for your visit, Shaz, and I'm glad you liked my doodles. I'm expecting a phone call from the GP this coming week about some prescription meds for my headaches but I haven't really had one since I spoke to the surgery pharmacist! They come and go... In the meantime I'm continuing with the Solpadeine Max which is a combo of codeine and paracetamol.

I hadn't realised you were back on chemo. If you feel up to it, do email me with news. I'm really sorry to hear about this... I had a port rather than a PICC and it was much easier to deal with, especially in the summer, having showers etc. I hope your eye exam went OK. I have a friend with diabetes and he's having endless probs with his eyes atm but can see a lot better now he's had his cataracts done. I've got incipient cataracts and am noticing a difference in my vision but apparently they aren't bad enough to do anything about yet.

Happy belated WOYWW,
