WOYWW #298

Extremely boring desk shot this week. The white part is clean, and I have put stuff away. Not all, the House Mouse stamps are still waiting for a home, and a few new Stampscapes arrived, just waiting to have the TIOO glue put on them. And you can see the Dreamweaver Stencil paste tool turned up, that I was talking about a few weeks ago. Haven't finished labelling those inkpads yet, either.
The Valentines card that was hiding on my table last week is in the post below this one, so at least I got that far.
The desk behind my desk also got cleaned- it must be spring on the way.

I did buy a couple of cases for pens, one that holds about 24 Promarkers, and another that holds the thinner type of pens, like Tombow or Distress pens.
The thinking behind them is that they will hold enough to take on trips, or into hospital when I have my surgery, without it looking like I've moved my whole stash with me. The Promarker one should cover me for a light, medium and dark of each colour family. Feeling more human today, been ok over the weekend, then Monday I spent the whole day feeling nauseous, but seems to be going away again now. I mentioned last week we are going down to Plymouth on Saturday, and it turns out that Shoshi only lives about an hour away, so all being well, we will get to meet and have a chat whilst we are down there. So that's my short, sweet and very dull workdesk this week, have a great Wednesday, and make sure you leave your link over at Our Head Desker, Julias'  place, The Stamping Ground.

Hi Shaz Well done you for having a spring clean! I've been spotted outside cleaning windows so it must be spring! I read your last post and I think your valentines card is just lovely. My hubby often doesn't always understand my creative hobbies especially when they costs money but do you know he actually grumbled this year because he didn't have a hand made card! Glad you are ok and it will be nice to meet up with Soshi if you can.

Aaw, bless you for going to visit Shoshi, it will be good for both of you to have a chat. Hope you remember to take some photos of you both together. Sorry to hear about the nausea, hope it soon clear up. I have four friends who are going through a tough time with cancer at the moment so am busy with my prayers.
Gorgeous Valentine card and I love the storage you have for your pens (those "V's") and the new portable ones.
Hugs, Neet 26 xx

Ugh, the nauseaous feeling...don't you just want to stick your fingers down your throat and get it over with. And then it doesn't work. it really is just a feeling isn't it. Poor you. I'm going to say that the tidying and cleaning is the distraction from that. I need to justify it see! I hope the journey isn't arduous for you, but Plymouth will be lovely, and if you do get to meet Shoshi, please pass on a hug!

Shaz,

A field trip to see another desker, how wonderful for you. I do hope you are feeling a bit better by now, if not rest easy. Those pen holders look like they will do the treat by storing your goodies, you must look after the supplies. Say hi to Shoshi when you are there from Yoda and I.

Happy WOYWW

Happy WOYWW. Lovely tidy and clean desk. Those pen holders are a good idea. I have just treated myself to a craft bag, which is going to hold my needle felting stash. Nothing better than storage! Ali x #43

Ah, a clean desk... something I never see in my studio lol. Those markers cases will be perfect for the hospital. I stayed there for 4 days with my hubby when he had his cancer surgery and all I brought was my ipad...so I only did digital art. I wish I had been more organized like you! He on the other hand remembered to bring cards, a scrabble game, and several books! I guess he was more calm then me lol Happy WOYWW Shel-PaperOctilloStudio #42

Oh my! All that lovely SPACE for you to go in and mess up. Such potential! It is looking real good. Those are some nifty cases for your pens. I once put a Copic case in a wishlist--the one that holds ever Copic ever made. It was to remind me that official Copic cases exist and I should count mine to see what size I needed. Before I got around to that hubby bought it for me as a surprise. Of course I need more Copics now, right? LOL! Judy #57

It's good to get organised before going into hospital. Those pencases look just the ticket.
Great that you are going to see Shoshi. Give her a big hug from me when you go. You two will have a lot to chat about (and compare notes)
Thank you for stopping by earlier,
God bless,

I see you caught the tidy virus- me too! I have some penned brush older, and I still tend to throw them all into a sack when I go art on the go. Maybe this will inspire me.
thanks for visiting

Thanks for the visit! No that butterfly die doesn't make the Swallowtail stamp. It isn't as big. It is very similar though. Judy #57

Hope your feeling better today. Great idea to be prepared with the pen storage. And Congratz on the tidying; my spring bug is still under 4 feet of snow.../sigh.

It does look a lot like spring cleaning, but I think you can change that look in a very short time! The pen cases look very practical, that is a good Idea.

Thanks for your visit and nice comment Shaz - I anm still enjoying the flowers, and you will get to see (and smell) them tomorrow! I can't wait for your visit.

I have read all the comments other WOYWW-ers have left you and can feel the hugs already. People are so kind.

I am sorry that you won't find my desk a hive of activity tomorrow. It's been bare and boring for weeks. Mr. Mojo and Mrs. Muse are still off on their naughty holiday, living it up who knows where and I still haven't even had a postcard. I haven't even finished organising the new RUBs I bought in January... I've bagged an extra one for the bathroom to keep all my bags and stuff in when I come out of hospital.

Love the new pen cases. They will look really cool when filled, and I hope you will feel well enough to use them when you are in hospital.

So sorry to hear you've been feeling nauseous - very unpleasant. Can they give you something for that? You must be wishing all that treatment was behind you now. It certainly does take time dealing with all this, doesn't it.

See you tomorrow!! Yaayyy! You will do me so much good!

Hugs,
Shoshi x

Hi Shaz, great to see your getting some organisation /tidying done.
I have the pro marker holder and use it for some of mine have another one for neutrals and yellows, and tougher colours are inthe 24 case.

Good idea to take them with you to pass the time, just read your last post on the chemo on the 13th I think it was, praying for you that it's efficacious, with minimal side effects.
Wondering what Stampscapes you have bought :)
Every blessing of the Lord dear Shaz,
