WOYWW #545- The Normal Enabling Service will be resumed as soon as possible Edition.

And it will, eventually. This WOYWW is coming to you from a hospital bed at the Alexandra hospital, Redditch. Been here since about 3.00 am Saturday, and probably here till Fri/Sat.
So heres my desk- Dougs idea!
Or maybe you'd like to see my new bruise collection?
I know my usual shade is black but I think I pull of  this years shades of blues, greens and browns rather well, lol.

The result of trying to get blood from my veins. easier to get it from a stone.Looks like I've beeen the pinboard in a game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey!  😀

🧛🧛🧛🧛🧛🧛🧛🧛🧛

Trying to get a canula in here, all thats happening is I'm starting to look like a junkie.

 ðŸ’‰

All of this is the result of having my chemo session, which gave me a chest infection again. Was getting over that slowly, and I caught a cold which made it harder  and harder to breathe, and i ended up in here.

We did go to the  Hobbycrafts show at the NEC,and I know I have said it before but this time I mean it, I won't bother again. Very unimpressed, the papercrafting side of things seems to be shrinking every time we go. Noticed this time that Inkylicious, Chloe and Indigo blu were not there, and I know one other company who told us this was there last show. All my purchases are still in bags on my desk, not even had the strength or energy to unpack. So thats the Enabling to come.😀

There has to be a selfie , its the rules :)
A blog post is not complete with out the

And finally........

oh poor Shaz! I saw a FB comment from you about hospital but wasn't sure why.. Hope you are home and fighting fit again soon. Take care. (great bruises, btw) Helen #?

Gentle hugs Shaz and I hope you are up and enabling again soon. A close up of that bruise, repeated, would make a great background. I only went to the NEC because I won tickets and it enabled me to drop off some samples in person, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered either. Far too expensive for customers and stall holders alike. Good morning Shaz - oh you dear soul! A chest infection and also a cold is awful - means Oxygen, intravenous antibiotics... and yes, the "pin the tail on the donkey" look - which takes ages to heal up!!! Love the selfie with that fantastic man of yours - give him my love, and hugs to the pair of you. As for that and finally - let's just say, I've got the teeshirt!!!
Take care, dear girl. God bless. I'll be praying.

Oh Shaz, sorry it ended like this - again you have had a rough time of it. Here's hoping they clear the infection up and you can return to the bosom of home before weekend. I had no idea as we have been at the caravan and internet is lousy up there so I am out of touch with the world which is nice in some ways but not in others.
Sending lots of gentle hugs and wishes for you to be well again.
Sorry about the NEC, now remember next time - stay away.

(((Shaz))) sending super fast get well hugs your way, I was wondering why I had not seen your regular self @ WoywW. Wishing you a speedy recovery so you can get back home and get crafty.
I have to agree about the NEC, I only go because Its local to me & I chaperone my MIL who in true old fashioned style likes physically to see things before she buys. If the rents were cheaper or they gave free parking to ticket holders it would attract many many more smaller companies and give them a chance...!
Take care Shaz & well done to Doug for enabling us to connect this WoywW Tracey #5 xx

Oh you two are funny despite all you are going through. What a loved up pair you are.
My wandering welder Philip wouldn’t have a clue as far as technology goes. He thinks the microwave is a telly.
I pray that improvement comes each day and you’ll be back at your proper desk soon
Lots of love to you both

Up in the wee hours, sending you prayers and all the best wishes one can have. So glad Doug made the post and I rather like the idea of colors and a great selfie. Prayers for Doug too...We are leaving in in a few hours for the city as my hubby will have his surgery *8 peg implants for his new teeth. It's been a LONG process. Our little area missed the snow but we will travel into it. Someplaces have 6 inches and it is bitter cold and windy minus 3 last night.
And my your doctor and staff be readily available, keep us updated and know that we all love you. I have yet to pack a few things, as to my disappointment I cannot leave him until all is finished. 3 blocks for an annual Christmas open house I usually can attend. !!! Oh well . Hugs and hope you have some good eats, much rest I use Ginger Tea and sniff Eucalypus for breathing !!

So lovely to see photo of you and Doug still smiling - such a support to you - love and hugs to you both. xxx Jo

Insidious buggers these infections, and how quickly they take hold and explode into something serious. You’ve had your share now Missus, I’m starting to get cross!! Happy that you’re in the right place and that your selfie shows you looking better than I ever do after a lie down. Hair by pillow and all that! I shall thoroughly look forward to seeing inside the NEC purchased bags. Shame about the state of these shows now,

Was so glad to see Julia’s post Shaz with some news of you as was very concerned.. but sad that hospital was necessary with its accompanying marking on the poor bod!
I’m the same with shocking veins, and was sporting bright purple one not unlike your cannula one from a very simple blood test.. however ineptitude on part of nurse meant it bled under skin hence big bruise just fading, cannula are not pleasant but praying all the extra attention means you’re home ASAP .. smiled when you said there has to be a selfie it’s the rules.
Great to see you both and pray normal enabling returns as soon as possible.
I should be asleep but not so got up going to do prayer then try again.

Been bad blogger this week only visited you and Julia cos had loads of medical appointments this week, three in one day a bit rich, but blessing really to get things done before I’m laid up again on 26th stitches in 3 weeks.
My new meds are by self administered injections so learnt how to do that yest, though have been on two trials before so not entirely new but every device varies. This is a pen format and really happy with it.
I’m madly doing card lists, Christmas letter, esp for overseas family, making cards trying to get them done by 26th May or may not blog on Wed.
Found some lovely card toppers all same Christmas one 15 so made four different ways this arvo and will decide how to do others.
Well best stop waffling, love to both of you, and pray earnestly you’ll soon be chipper again with no more cold infection or breathing difficulties. Off to pray for rain and lots of it to put fires out please, Lord.
Prayer hugs,

Hi Shaz, just spotted your comment on my blog - so glad to hear you're feeling a bit better now. Hopefully, you'll be home soon if not already! To answer your question, I didn't buy a kit for the acrylic pours - I'm just using my old acrylic paints and loads of PVA glue. I did buy a few more canvases as I ran out of the few I had very quickly, but I can also reuse old ones. I figured I had to use up my paints at one point anyway as they don't last forever and some them are 4-5 years old now. This is a great way of using them up! I'll probably run out soon at this rate LOL, even though I have tons! Best wishes, I hope you continue improving with every single day! xx

Oh Shaz! I am late to visit desks and heard from Jan you were not well and in the hospital. Now that's not acceptable, you heal fast so you can continue to make your beautiful crafts. Those bruises look awful and I bet really sore but you are in the right place to get the care to get you back on your feet. I'm sending you a big hug and well wishes my friend!
