I finally have mine finished this afternoon.
The names on my swap list are, My PIF, then
Julia, LLJ,Margaret (Glitter & Glue),
Annie (Wipso),Jo (Twiglet),Cindy,Suzanne Alexis, Angela Radford, Sarah Brennan, Neet,Nikki, Heather Marshall & Zsuzsa. Thats 14 all together, and I have 3 more spare, so if anyone else wants to swap, let me know.
Friday afternoon we spent at the RHS Spring Show at Malvern. Vast number of gardens to look at, sculptures galore and a huge variety of plants to buy.
This garden sculpture was amazing, so beautifully done.
A bonsai, I took the photo to show my son, as it's his hobby these days. Quite a selection of magnificent specimens.
Needless to say, we came home with a good selection of plants for the garden, which will be this weekends job, as there has been digging on our back patio to fix a water leak. Not ours, I hasten to add, a couple of doors up, but as we are on an old Victorian street, 3 houses run off the same supply, so we all have had new piping laid.
This card was quickly put together for a work colleague who was retiring on Friday, but had kept it quiet until Wednesday! Those Stampscapes scenes I did came in really useful here, and are perfect for this subject. Especially useful when the retiree isn't someone with hobbies you can theme the card to.
....And finally......
Right, I'm done. See you all later!

you always find some great funnies to end with! the retirement card is fabulous; as is that sculpture from Malvern. Makes me want to get the Powertex out. Happy WOYWW - oh, I'd love to swap atcs as I have a couple extra too.. Helen #??
Oh I so relate to that final funny Shaz. The bonsai are spectacular and I love the sculpture too. Great card, the watches as a background were a fab idea. Have a good week. Sarah #9
Just love that sculpture, saw it on FB but it still deserves another mention here from me.
Sorry about the back patio, hope you get your plants in over the weekend - such a lovely colourful selection. Must get my clematis planted later today.
Gorgeous card, I am full of admiration for your scenic work - absolutely beautiful.
Hugs, Neet xx 7
Hee heee... i'd love to say something like that most Sunday's if only the Fish & Chip shop was open hee hee!! Great card for the retirement, scene's I find invaluable for every occasion.
Your visit and shared photographs are fab, lots of inspiration to take in and that Bonsai looks amazing what a great hobby of your Son's.
Enjoy planting those shrubs over the weekend & don't forget to share a pic.
Creative wishes for the week ahead Tracey #5 xx
Wahoo an ATC with my name on. Yours are all tucked up in their envelope ready to post too. Can you tell I’m excited? I love the swap every year.

Morning Shaz. A great day out at Malvern! I admit bonsai isn't my thing - but I can quite see the beauty and skill. That acer arrangement is stunning. Great shot of Doug in the machine!!! I like the retirement card - you are so skilled with those scenescapes. Well done. Your ATC is sitting awaiting next week's great postal session!
Take care. God bless.

Yay, I'm looking forward to the Anniversary swap next week - do you reckon Julia must have one of the longest running blog meet-ups? There can't be many that have lasted as long! Gorgeous plants from the show, I bought quite a few the other day but have to wait a few more days before planting them up. I'm sooooo impatient, I want it done NOW!!!
Hugs LLJ 8 xxx
That retirement card looks brilliant. I didn't visit last week so I've only just seen that fantastic of Doug with his hair on end! Love it. Enjoy the rest of your week.

Love the idea of that ATC stamp - I had to print mine, but at least now I have a template. Love the retirement card - that image is perfect for it! The bonsai tree is fantastic - it must take years to grow something like that. It sounds like a lovely hobby for your son - perhaps I'll try it one day! I've got my ATCs ready too, waiting for next Wednesday. Have a great week! zsuzsa #25
My apologies for the late visit. A huge storm knocked out my electricity and internet about the time I began visiting. I finally gave up waiting for it to come back on and went to bed.
I love your ATC backs. They are very clever. And yours are all made, while mine are still in the "will it work" stage. That's a lovely statue and a gorgeous bonsai.
That retirement card is beautiful and shows how you were influence by spring and gardens.
When I got my new computer I gave my first wireless Logitech keyboard and mouse away because the letters were worn off some of the keyboard keys, even though I touch type and don't need to see what letter I'm typing. It was a great keyboard and I wish I had never given it up. So yes, there are good ones out there, just not the latest ones they are selling. Happy WOYWW from #3 (and Bleubeard, too).
Thanks for popping by! I love the back of your ATCs! And your photos, wow! That garden sculpture is gorgeous, so graceful! I have a few Stampscape stamps but haven't used them in years! Beautiful card! Hope you have a wonderful week and a speedy fix to your pipe replacement with no more leaks!

I confess, the garden stuff really drew my attention. I am an avid gardener and love anything that has to do with plants, sculptures and the like. Thanks for sharing those pictures and thanks for the visit!

Hi Shaz, yes I do still have your address. consider yourself swapped!!
Hi Shaz,
OOooh pretty plants :) That is probably a good thing to have new pipes for everyone on the line in the long run but, what a mess to clean up after. hopefully the plants all fill in quickly. I love the joke I will have to remember that one :) ~Stacy #29
Ooh I love the sculpture - how wonderful would that be in the garden. I really need to get some plants soon, you've got me in the gardening mood seeing all yours ready to go in - you've chosen a lovely selection.
I really like the back of your ATC's, and would love to swap if I'm not too late (spent all day living in NHS time at our local hospital, which is totally different from real world time!)
Hope you have a great week,
Diana x #18
Never mind the weekend, that meme should say every day!! But I think my family are used to me by now. Gosh, when I think I used to go to all the big garden shows, haven't been anywhere for years!! Ah well, once you've done Chelsea on preview day as an exhibitor it all pales by comparison!! Lovely selection of plants there, I'm itching to buy a few more but going to be away so will restrain myself. I did just buy a bee bomb and now I don't know where to put it. Thanks for the earlier visit - as usual got distracted today so catching up with a cuppa late evening. Happy WOYWW Cindy #16
Gorgeous sculpture, bet that was a great day. We have a Bonsai garden that we visit called Greenwood Gardens originally owned by Harry Tomlinson. If your son is in to Bonsai he may well have heard of him though he died a couple of years ago and his son has taken over. This is the most wonderful place to visit with more Bonsai for sale than you can imagine from Japan and the UK but not only that it is the most gorgeous and peaceful place to visit though it is difficult to come away without buying something and they will dig their own trees out of the ground and pot them for you while you wait too. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww, Angela x23x
Hi Shaz, nice selection of plants. I like choosing plants and then leave it to Mr M or our gardener to plant them. I definitely don't have green fingers, but I know exactly what I like and where it should go in our garden. I love the garden sculpture... that would look great in my garden! Or something a bit smaller lol. Thanks for stopping by earlier, and have a lovely week Heather x #12
AN RHS show is always a good day out I think. That particular sculpture is lovely, wouldn’t mind a smaller facsimile of it for my litttle plot! I’m wrestling our garden back into shape..for two years we’ve just cut the grass, so there’s a lot of jungle to pull out and some re-organising to do. I dont like doingit but I like it tidy, and Bart likes doing it but just doesnt have time, so, while he works on the extension, I’m keeping him company outdoors....
Your desk shot looks as if you’ve done a shed load of ATCs, was surprised that the pile doesnt add up to about fifty!
Hi Shaz, that would be great to swap - thanks. I have your address unless you've moved in the last couple of years but I can't use the email link to email you mine (you might still have it as we've swapped before). I have no idea why, but since they upgraded me to Windows 10 whenever I use this Live mail link with anybody the system rejects my own address, not the one I'm sending to, so you are one in a long line of people I can't contact! Sorry about that. Let me know if you don't have it.
Hugs,
Diana x
Shaz...I didn't see my name but we did exchange emails with mailing addresses I think. APril 12th .. if you've changed your mind I understand. Just let me know.
I'm late getting round desks again this week - just having a breather after watching the royal wedding before the cup final!! Looking forward to our ATC swap. Fab pics of Malvern - I love the dancing lady xx Jo
Oh, Shaz I am so jealous. I love plants. I wish I could have gone with you. I am waiting for the weather here to stabalize before I buy anything to put into the garden for the season. I bet you found great inspiration. Thanks for the visit earlier this week!

Hi Shaz. Sorry I am so late returning your visit. I am just about beginning to catch up after feeling unwell. Thanks for tip re Lemon Barley water. DH got some for me and I have been having a glass a day as well. Hope I never get another UTI - it was first time and can't believe how poorly it made me feel. Anne x #11
