WOYWW #466

Hi folks, I'm back, and hoping you've all had a great Bank Holiday weekend, with some fabulous weather. Didn't have very good weather for our week away, in fact it wasn't till Sunday that we saw any sunshine. Speaking of which, I have to show you this. Facebook friends will have already seen it, but I thought you all deserved a laugh! There was a really interesting Science Museum close to where we were staying, so we went for a visit.

They had one of those Static Electricity gadgets there, and needless to say, Hubby was determined he was having a go.

Even the attendant asked to take pictures, as they'd never had anyone with hair as long as Dougs have a go on it.

On the desk, I've die cut and layered up all those medallions, now they just need to go on cards.

But first-

yes, I've finally started my ATC's. So anyone else who would like to swap, leave me a message, and send me your snail mail, and I'll do the same.

Right then, pop your link over at Julias at The Stamping Ground, and let us all come look at your desk!

And finally.....................
That is so true, 😁.

WOW, Shaz. Doug's photos are really good publicity for the Science Museum and the Static Electricity Machine. And those medallions are out of this world. They are SO beautiful.

Gah, the Canaries are so weather unpredictable recently. We were in Malaga for our first week and the first couple of days were cloudy - the locals were saying it had been a wet and cloudy winter and were very gloomy about the outlook. Fortunately, every day after it got brighter and warmer. Cheered us all, locals and tourists alike! Great pics of DOug, never seen his hair let loose before, so even more amazing really! The mandalas look great Shaz, you have tons more patience than me.

First of all you were on my surprise list for ATC's anyhow. Couldn't not send you one could I? So yes, you are a swapper!
Loved the photos of Doug's hair on FB and had double enjoyment seeing them on here today. Reminds me of Wizard with all that hair flying about.
Love your Mandalas - they look amazing.
Sorry about the weather on your holiday - would never have thought it with the Canaries - reminds me of Nerja last year when we had two or three days of storms - we stayed in part of the time - just went out to eat at night.

Your hubby looks marvelous against the static electric wall!!! I love his long grey/white hair. The medallions look like a lot of work, wowzah! I don't know what places you will visit when you come to the Netherlands, but there are a lot of cities with old houses/canals/churches/bridges like Middelburg (think Amsterdam, Utrecht, 's Hertogenbosch) Thanks for visiting my blog yesterday, enjoy your week! Those medallions look so beautiful, Shaz - absolutely stunning! The pictures of Doug are hilarious - he's such a good sport! And yes, I've looked up our house on Google Earth - it's actually very useful when I want to give people directions on how to get here - I just send them a link or a screen capture - makes life easier.
