WOYWW #413

Not actually a lot on my desk today, as Saturday I had to go for a CT Scan, we get the results on Monday 8th May, so not long to wait.
On Monday we decided to get my hair dyed- I'd be worth a fortune now if I'd bought shares in a hair dye company when I was younger.😁
Today(Tuesday) I had to go for my annual kidney stent change, and that went fine, lucky me was first on the list, so went down about 9.15, was waking up in recovery at 10.00. Which was great, as I was gasping for a coffee, lol.😈

So, I'm writing this now and scheduling, as otherwise I will forget it's Wednesday- it only needs a bank holiday to throw me completely.

Something you may be interested in arrived in my hot, sticky mitts on Saturday.

The Tim Holtz/Tonic Stamping Platform. The full post I did on the unboxing and try out is HERE, if you want to read about it, but in a nutshell, it's great!

Things I started last week, and then played with over the weekend are in THIS POST.
Used some inkpads I've had for years, and some Brushos too.

This was just some cardstock cut down to roughly A5, then spritzed with an assortment of sprays- some Tim Holtz, some Dylusions, and I think a couple of  Tattered Angels.
They've flattened down nicely now, so I can use them to stamp on, and also get some cards made up from the others.

We are off to Happy Stampers On Saturday- we drive up Friday afternoon, and stay overnight,- so there will be some new goodies to show you next week. I do have a few items on my shopping list.😎.
And I have a few people to meet up with, Neet, Sarah Brennan and Cara. Will be lovely to meet the second two for the first time. Anyone else going, let me know and we'll meet up & say Hi.
Final subject, the ATC swap for WOYWW 8th Birthday. I am going to join in- I must tell the truth, despite me keep saying I will make some, this Birthday swap is the only time I actually get round to it!
Anyway, as well as my swap person, I'm happy to swap with anyone else who would like to do so- I don't mind where in the world you are- so if anyone would like to, please leave me a message in the comments, and email me your snail mail- my email link is in the sidebar. Then I can get an idea of how many I'll need to make, and I'll email you my snail mail too.
Right then, kept fairly short & sweet, just how Auntie Julia over at The Stamping Ground likes it.

Morning Shaz. Your hair looks amazing! Wish I had the courage now mine is fading - or, being red-headed, looking as if I have been left out in the rain!!! Lots of great things going on there on your desk. Please give my love to Neet when you see her on Saturday - tell her Llandudno awaits, and please tell Sarah I always read her blog, I just can't comment... Have a fantastic day, enjoy yourself - and make sure you find everything on your shopping list!
Take care young lady. God bless.

OMG..how did you ever get that Stamping Platform. You must live in the country it was made. Just got notice my order now goes to June before delivery. I ordered it in March. I was upset. Thanks for the post on it also. Totally love the the fun colors you used on the cards, and the images are wonderful. I would love to do an ATC exchange with you. Have a fun week

Hi hun, so glad your appointments are becoming more routine even if they do remain invasive... most people have no concept of the frustration of living to the fullest in a body that won't let you do what your mind would wish.. you are an inspiration... I am happy to do an extra ATC swap with you but be warned postage to France is not cheap- just let me know- no problems if you want to stick to UK/USA...

You have sold me on the Tim Holtz stamping platform! It was on my wish list, but I think I will buy it for myself! Yay for the last of the oxide inks, I have to still get some of those as well. The cards you've been playing with look like you had a lot of fun - awesome! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #32

Hi Shaz,

I love your hair. I use to die mine purple, but just can't be bothered now, so I am grey, with my natural dark brown at the back. Why I haven't gone grey all over I do not know:)

Your Dragonflys and the other ones(can't think what they are called) are all lovely.

Glad your stent replacement went well.

Will be thinking of you Monday and sending heaps of calming positive thoughts.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Stunning hairdo - it gives us such a lift doesn't it. Glad your hospital visit went OK - good luck with the scan results. I will be making a few ATC's as usual so would love to swap. Think I might dumf this year!! xx Jo

I read your stamp platform review with great interest, and when I have time, will have questions! I spent some time this afternoon making some backgrounds with Pixie Powders (apparently like brushos but pearly). Christ what a mess! Don't think they're for me at all, too many variables. Still, give me a chance to use the sheets ive coloured and then I'll decide. Your hair is just fab. Get on with those backgrounds then, I suddenly need someone to copy!!

Lovely hair and super dragonfly pieces, love all the colours. Thanks for the visit earlier BJ#26

Hi Shaz, glad your hospital procedure went well and you didn't have to hang around too long. Your hair is fantastic. Love the shades - very dramatic. I read your previous posts - most interesting. I've been thinking about buying a Misti for quite some time but I've just done a price comparison and the Stamping Platform is very much cheaper so I think I'll opt for that - eventually! I'm still on a spending freeze - although it is proving nearly impossible to stick to it. Hope the scan results are good - I'll be thinking of you on Monday. Hugs, Elizabeth xx

Great hair colour, love it. Seeing how you've been using up some old ink pads has got me thinking! I have the Misti and it took me ages to realise I needed it but Oh boy is it worth having, it makes the stamping much easier. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy crafty woyww, Angela x14x

Wow! Shaz I love your new hair colour, it's like midnight ombre, beautiful! Been wondering about that stamping platform myself, must go check out your unboxing now ... Sorry to be so late visiting, hopw you're having a fabulous weekend :o) Annie C #21

ps forgot to say Shaz, you asked about where I get those little miniature kits from - I go to AliExpress.com, but you can also get them from BangGood.com - the one in my WOYWW post last week was about £8 with free postage. Just bear in mind that you may wait several weeks for delivery. Also it's better to order small items separately as if the whole parcel adds up to more the £15 worth you may get stung for duty. Hope that helps :O)

Oh Shaz! Love the color. You are oh so brave. I've never had any desire to color my hair in any way. I figure I've earned every gray hair I have. LOL Thanks for visiting me. Wish I could have joined you in the meet-up on Saturday. I'm also joining the Birthday ATC swap so count me in, please. I'll shoot you an email on your contact form. Creative Blessings! Kelly #35
