WOYWW #549- The die sorting Edition.

And here they are in their new home. So far I've only filled the top layer, and the second layer with all the Christmas dies & Embossing folders, leaving the bottom one empty. Thinking I *may* just be able to get my BIGZ dies in there, leaving me with a free drawer in the tower beneath the desk. So, it's working out fine.
It's cleared off the desk I use for die cutting, just have a couple of things left to put away.

On a good note, I got out the box that had left over Christmas cards from the last year or so, thinking I will at least have a start on this years, to find I actually had enough to do all my card sending this year!

Huge bonus, as time was definitely slipping past me way too fast.

This weeks only bit of enabling is some coloured cardstock from Papermill Direct, as well as some of their super smooth white cardstock, which is excellent as a stamping cardstock.

And that pretty much sums up everything for this weeks WOYWW, hosted as always by Julia over at The Stamping Ground.

Which only leaves.....And Finally.......

How true is that?

A nice but short post so I am hoping your health is ok. The new cart is proving to be a winner, now I wish I had thought harder about getting one but to be honest I don't have much floor space unless I start on the centre of the room (but it is tiny). Will be good to have your dies movable like that.
Good news about the 'find' ie Christmas cards, we certainly have enough commercial ones to use next year and this year I am determined to try out a technique that I love and use it for my cards throughout the year. Will see!
Trouble is I like my camel set and the little gnomies so I want to use those too.
Have a good week, hope all is well.
Hugs, Neet 16 xx

Happy WOYWW and glad to see that you are back in your craft room. I read back some of your older posts and was sad to hear about the NEC show. I remember going about 7 years ago and it was fantastic - literally a whole day out to get around all the stands. We are too far west for me to go to shows now (the Cardiff one is no longer held), which does save money! Fabulous that you had enough Christmas cards left over from last year. Loving the colours of the card you bought. Ali x #15

Card result! you must have had an inkling...! I was saying to Helen, I put stuff in the Christmas box and put it in the attic, thinking that the next year I’ll find them and use them...and what happens? I leave it too late to get that particular box down. I never learn!! Good job with the dies missus...I was using a Bigz die only yesterday and thinking about how if I could see them, I might get more use from them. I haven’t many but they are ones I like and therefore need!

That cart would make my life more simple as I have dies everywhere it seems! But I sort of have a system and am afraid to mess with it. Hope your health is ok and that you are feeling well as the Holiday season aproaches! Thinking of you sweet one!

That trolley houses your dies perfectly! I've got the two that I ordered but I'm keeping them till Christmas! I was going to use them for my scarp paper that always takes up too much space on my desk. They seem very versatile these little trolleys - thanks for recommending them! Hope you have a good week and thanks so much for being my first visitor this week! zsuzsa #19

I've had to finish two more Memory bears this morning before I could check out my favourite blogs so I'm a little later visiting today.
Well done you with your cards...I'm thrilled to say mine are all written and posted now :-)

I’m going to organise my supplies as soon as my christmas crafting is done. Fabric is the bulk of my stash and it’s currently all over the house!!

Very organised, Shaz. The trolley looks perfect too. I need to have a blitz in here but I think I'll leave it until after Christmas now. Finding those cards was a lovely surprise for you - saves you that last minute rush. I'm loving the coloured cardstock - they are beautiful. I have to admit to still having whole days when I don't take a photo but I make up for it on other days by taking a gazillion!!! Have a lovely week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #22

Hi Shaz. Oh my - someone else doing organising at this time of year... Will I get around to it?? Doubtful! It's all looking good though with your new trolley. Glad you are sorted with your Christmas cards. Many thanks for the gorgeous one you sent me.
Take care. God bless.

Hi Shaz, got your lovely card to today, thank you so much. It's always a good idea to keep a few cards for those just in case times. Thanks for asking about the cabin. Des has just finished the painting inside so lighting next. I know it's taking a while but just want to get it right before we start moving everything in. Have a happy woyww, Angela x13x

Great organizing! I don't have near as many dies as you! Looks like you are all set for a year of wonderful crafting. I too had a few leftover cards from last year, which was good, because my cardmaking this year has almost been non-existent. I love the "finally" - so true! Have a great week, Lindart #26

And now there's the addressing and adding a note. Did you already have sentiments on the insides? I do not do that as I'm making....ugg! I did better matching envelopes with each as I go. I did not do that before. It's really a pain to make or cut one down when you thought you were ready to mail!

Happy Wednesday!

Hectic day yesterday helping Tilly and tea for Ben. Today dashing around voting and posting parcels - long queues! Well done with the cards. I love the funny - I used to take loads of photos in the 80s when Max was little and of course they were all printed off. Now photos I take sit in files on a computer and no one sees them unless I make a big effort to print them myself! xx Jo

The taking pictures quote cracked me up. You’d think as a scrapbooker, some of those daily “I have to take a picture of that” photos would end up somewhere. LOL. Have a wonderful week! Dorlene #24

Love the trolley... Super bargain. I was surprised when I had mine at how much space was freed up.
Have a good organising week.

I laughed and laughed at the joke Shaz, I started out this month with the intentions of doing "December daily" and so far I think I took pictures about 1/3 of this month so far. Such is life, but I will have some stories to go with what I did shoot so, hopefully the holidays will round out the lack of daily shots is my thinking. I love that you have so many dies on that cart, that looks so handy. ~Stacy #23
