WOYWW #447- The Nearly New Year Edition.

A little bit early, but wishing each and every one a Very Happy,Healthy and Peaceful New year.
Probably like most, there hasn't really been any crafting going on, so just a couple of pictures of Christmas pressies  for this weeks meet up at The Stamping Ground, where Julia is no doubt attempting to keep us in some sort of order!

First, say hello to Batcat! One of a whole range of plush toys, all with a bit of a dark theme.

A couple of colouring books from Beloved Hubby, full of lovely images.

And a set of four cards to colour in too,all art work from Anne Stokes.

Followed by a very interesting looking bottle of gin!

And finally, as the January sales are upon us.................

Happy festive Wednesday to you. Looks like you were on Santa’s good list and you had lots of lovely things. It’s no sooner Christmas here than it’s the start of birthday celebrations....a 60th and a 100th tomorrow and our eldest will be 34 on the 7th so the celebrations continue. I will be ready for a rest lol.
Hope 2018 is a happy and healthy one for you and we can enjoy many more Wednesdays of fun and friendship.
Hugs,

Hi Shaz. I love the colouring books and cards. Similar theme to two jigsaws I have. I had to check the artist name as they look similar! I might have to treat myself to some new colouring books! Enjoy the gin! Thanks for stopping by and the info for the scan n Cut. Have a wonderful new year, and best wishes for 2018 xx Heather #17

Lovely presents and so very much you. You will enjoy colouring those books in and no doubt hugging that little fella. I think I must take a photo of the handbags and things at our garden centre, I love them and am sure you would. Tad expensive though!

Like the post below says Buying and Using are 2 different hobbies ! I like that. I also like your baby card from that post. I gave a few colouring books for gifts this year. Such fun images in so many. Wishing you and yours a wonderful New Year ahead.

Hi Shaz! Happy Almost New Years! haha the flow chart made me laugh, ( that was the 20 years ago edition for me though I think I am slightly better about the restraint now, or maybe its a lack of space to stuff anymore things) lol

Ohhhhh...I want a bat cat!!! He would fit in well with my two Feisty Pets! And the Gin...wonder if it's similar-but more heathery-to the Brecon Botanicals Gin from Penderyn Distillery we picked up (and I've horded) from our visit a few years ago now. You and LLJ sure have found some fun gins!
I wish a very Happy, Healthy New Year to both you and Doug!!

Great pressies to occupy you, Shaz! And I love your flow chart - lol lol!! (As if we needed any excuse to buy stuff...) Thank you so much for your lovely comment and your kind words esp. about Mum. I am sorry to hear about the ongoing UTI - what an absolute pain. I hope they sort you out soon - perhaps you need a different antibiotic. I had a UTI in hospital in Feb. and the first lot didn't work so they put me on something else. My hubby is behaving a lot better these days and not trying to do stuff all the time - I think he got scared that the leg wasn't healing as it should, so he's been resting it a lot more. He slipped on a manhole cover in someone's driveway and thought at first that it was a bad sprain. He had it manipulated under general anaesthetic and they say it's healing now, but he's got to go back to the fracture clinic on Fri. to make sure - hopefully he won't need an operation to pin it. He will be in plaster for 6 weeks from when healing began, not from he did it, unfortunately. It couldn't have come at a worse time... There have been times when I have wondered whether I could carry on as so much has fallen on me, with him not being able to do anything, and like your lovely hubby with you, he does look after me quite a lot, and with him out of action I'm having to manage a lot more -AND look after him! - and getting pretty exhausted and stressed about it. Hopefully things will start to improve on all fronts in the New Year.

Big hugs to you both, and happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #5
