Indeed, a huge Merry Christmas to all my WOYWW buddies, wishing everyone a Happy and Peaceful Christmas. Last but one link up of this year, over at Julias Grotto, The Stamping Ground.
MIA last week, for which I will mainly blame Beloved Hubby having Monday off! Made me think Tuesday was Monday, and so on. He had yesterday off too, so I've been reminding myself all day that it is Tuesday, not Monday.
Not a huge amount on the desk, to be honest. A few purchases, the Pram stamp I bought- and ended up using- from Stamps by Chloe, as the Clarity set only turned up last weekend.
The TH stamp set was from Country View Crafts, and in her Advent sale.
I did make another purchase from Clarity- that 'Groovi Grip'. I saw it mentioned on Barbara's blog- you attach it to the back of a ruler, and when you press down, it stops the ruler sliding. It's transparent when you peel the backing off. Thought it was worth a try out, as slipping rulers really annoy me.
Two A4 size sheets for £4.16. I often prefer to trim my cardstock & borders after stamping, rather than cut to size first, and depending on what size of border I want, usually prefer a ruler & scalpel.
These stencils came with the original Baby stamp order, I thought the Bell & Bauble would look good with Christmas scenes in. The Holly one was a special being added to orders in the Gray Friday sale, I expect it will get a general release next year.
And finally, the completed Baby card, I'll do a post with it over Christmas.
So, I'm done.Only a couple of presents left to buy, and all the cards are posted.
Which reminds me, a huge thank you to everyone who has sent us a card, we really appreciate them.
Doug breaks up on Friday until the 2nd of Jan, and being on earlies this week, means he finishes at 10.40.
Have the rest of a lovely week, and I'll see you next week for the Nearly New Year Edition. 🎄🎄🎅🎅🎄🎄
And finally......

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who doesn’t know what day of the week it is....yesterday I thought today was Thursday (my last working day) but maybe that was just wishful thinking?
I would like to wish you both a very happy Christmas and hope you get lots of rest and pampering before next week.
Hugs,

Morning Shaz. I'm completely muddled this week, too. Was convinced Monday was Tuesday, so took all my photos for this week's post... then turned on the computer, and got the shock of my life to discover it really was only Monday! Honestly, I don't know whether it's serious old age creeping up or simply me not paying enough attention! Never been the same since the school week events stopped ruling life!
However... just LOVE the final thought for the day!!! Totally agree.
Have a really special Christmas season.
Take care. God bless.

You're so not on your won with the muddling up of days - I haven't a clue what's where at the moment. Only four more band commitments and then I'll have finished for this year - woohoo! Though the new test piece for next March was handed out so I'll have something to practise over the holidays :-D. Nice new stash there and, do you know, I hadn't ever considered the issue of slippy rulers before (!) but can see how annoying it would be. Hope the non slip ruler grip stuff helps!
Yay for Doug finishing on Friday - hope you have a wonderful Christmas :-D
Hugs LLH 6 xxxx
I hope you both have a great Christmas with lots of good music and crafting, especially trialling your new stash.....
Take care my friend and don't overdo it.

I was cursed this morning with not being able to upload comments.
Then I sussed it and realised that mobile commenting is a problem unless you revert to the web version. But I ran out of time.
Here I am now thouugh!
Love seeing what you've been doing - I can't wait for my coursework to finish so I can get on with some crafting proper!
And you're such an enabler. I've now decided that I need that groovi grip stuff, and where/whose is the baby embossing folder you've used on that card? Need that too - looks lovely!
Have a lovely Christmas... Your card is in the post!
Beautiful baby card and I love your new stash. The slipping ruler problem is something that I'm starting to notice more and more as the arthritis in my hands affects the strength I need when cutting. I've always been a steel rule and Stanley knife sort of girl so I'm off to get some of the Groovi Grip - thanks for the info on it.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas,

Hi Shaz, Thanks for the card; I have been very lazy this year and haven't posted any cards out so apologies for not getting one to you. Merry Christmas; I'll save the new year wishes for next week LOL. Love how the baby card turned out. Sarah #9

Thanks for visiting earlier - hope to catch you again next week! zsuzsa #18
Shaz, I always love visiting your blog! Hey....I say it's ok to have a day off! Especially when it means you get to spend time with your beloved!! LOL Love your goodies from Clarity! I STILL want her brushes that she uses with inks...maybe one day! The baby card is simply gorgeous! They will love it! I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a blessed new year! Felicia #25

I have a chum who uses a scalpel and ruler in preference to any cutter or guillotine, so this grip may well be of some interest to her, I shall put it in her ear after the hols. Wha,t a fab card for the baby parents, how lovely..must have taken you some time. And a really happy and fun Christmas for you two, what a year!
Hi Shaz, You will be kept busy with your new stash.
The baby card is beautiful.
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Happy WOYWW

The Pram card came out beautifully! I hope you and Doug have a Very Merry Christmas!
Oh, and you're right...seeing as most of us post the newly acquired craft stash as much as completed projects, it truly is it's own hobby!!
Hugs,

Hi Shaz, the baby card is gorgeous. I'm sure the proud parents will love it. I think baby cards are my favourite to make. Your stash of goodies looks fun too! I hope you and Doug have a lovely Christmas, best wishes Heather #32
Gorgeous card Shaz. I very much agree with the sentiment as I see, to have loads of stuff that I just haven't used for some reason Lol! I did find a ruler that had a thin cork on the back and that doesn't slide when you use it. Thanks for the visit to mine, have a good Christmas and a great woyww too, Angela x8x
Great to have finished all your cards. Have a very happy Christmas and new year.

It's good to know I am not the only one who doesn't know what day it is, like two weeks ago and I missed the WOYWW. There have been times when I have switched the TV on to see what day it is. Old age.
Have a good Christmas and wish you a Healthy New year. Anickoana#20
