Well, for the first of 2017's challenges, I'm posting a card made for Christmas for my Beloved Hubby.
It features two cheeky robins from a Hobby Arts set, called Round Robins.
The card base is a 7" square deckle edged card, bought when we visited Happy Stampers in October.
I stamped out two of the robins using Memento Tuxedo Black, and coloured them in using Promarkers. I added the Santa hat, which is also part of the set, and made the furry edge with a little cotton wool and glue. I cut some backing paper slightly smaller than the card front, and from the offcuts I made a matt for both robins.
The Embossing Folder is from Crafters Companion, called Elegant Snowfall.
I added this to the Designer paper matt, then placed the robins on top, leaving room for two die-cut elements.
I also added a little sparkle to the hats with some Icicle Stickles.
The Merry Christmas is from Presscut dies, and the 'To my Perfect Husband' is from Tonic Studios, which was from a set of three dies.
Final addition was some white Organza ribbon tied in a knot down the spine.

Sorry to be a day late in commenting, but at least I'm finally having a moment to visit. Nothing can beat a darling cheeky Robin, except 2 of them. This is such a cute image, and I love the way you've done the double matting with this cutie. Love the fur on his Santa hat, and of course, the bold & perfect sentiment. TFS & Happy New Year.
This is fabulous Shaz, love the robins and what gorgeous sentiment dies. Carol x
