WOYWW #311

Well, we're back, and one week away from our 6th anniversary.I'm sure many of you have seen the photos on some of the blogs from Saturdays Crop, what a lovely day it was too, even though far too short for us.
I came away with a fabulous selection of ATC's, which I'll show you in a minute, but first pic is a lovely pressie for me from our lovely Debbie Rock (Tattered Rocks).
Just how 'me' is that? It's awesome, and I rather think there may be skull patterned biscuits going to the next crop!

First bunch of glorious ATC's- from top left, Twiglet, Eliza ,Chris & Helen, 2nd row, LLJ, Marg( silvercrafter) Debbie and Cindy. 3rd Row: Head Desker Julia,Zoe,Sam & Kyla.
Second batch, and an amazing paper construction from Mary Anne (I'll show you more in a moment), Annie RosA and Elizabeth & Bleubeard.
Mary Annes contained a fabulous little box, that opens out, to look like this.

 Just awesome.

I ordered a Stampin Up stamp from Fiona ( Staring at the Sea), and bought a stamp from Julia- what a cute little owl.

Just a few pics of the morning- Julia, Fiona and Lisa Jane.

Marg, Debbie and Julias friend Fiona, with Beloved Hubby in the background attempting to get out of shot.

The Queen of Catering herself, LLJ, who we stayed with on Friday night, and as always, along with her menfolk, made us feel so welcome in their home.

From the front, Zoe, Me,and Sam at the back, then LLJ, and I can't remember the name of who is beside her! Over in the background is Chris.

Final pic, Me, Chris & Zoe- Zoe wanted a 'red, white & blue' photo, lol. Although I could manage two of those on my own, :).

So thats my 'desk' this week. I'll be around later, probably while you are reading this I'm down at the hospital for a second go at being scanned, this time with a lot of Diazepam in my system! It may be much later, as it makes you drowsy, so I'll probably be asleep on the new recliner sofa for a while when we get back.
EDIT:
Had my MRI, thanks to the magic of Diazepam, and being able to have Doug there, all went ok. Now walking round in my own Happy Bubble, lol.

Last pics, from the Wedding. Pic on the left, Doug, his 'little' brother, Rob, and their Mom.2nd pic, Doug, Ellie, Wendy ( another sister)  and Rob.

Post below has the Wedding card in, and a pic of the Bride & Groom.

Well, it was our pleasure as always...it's terrible when you don't have anything to talk about and there's these long awkward silences............NOT!!! I don't think any of us drew breath from when you arrived to when you left, LOL!!
I adore that skully rolling pin (how kind is Debbie?) and biscuits sound just the ticket for the next crop :-)
Btw, I read your post on how you created the wedding card. Blimey, it was complicated....and that is why i prefer working with fabric, I haven't got the patience :-)
Hope you're ok,
Hugs, LLJ 15 xxxx

The rolling pin has gone to the perfect home. Looks like you all had a wonderful time at the crop and to think you still were able to fit in a wedding. Hope all went well with your scan.

Wish I could remember which adhesive I used on your cube, cause it seems to have held together better than Helen's :)

Lovely to see you however briefly and glad you like the book - I haven't forgotten, I'll email you the centre spread for the tee shirt transfer when I get done desk hopping!
hugs and see you in a year....

Hi, Shaz, it looks like everyone had a lovely time at the crop. That woodgrain stamp is nice and the ATCs are very clever. I'm glad you were able to have your MRI -- I'm sure the touch of your hubby's hand was as comforting as the medication. Thank you for your visit and happy WOYWW. ~ Laura #51

I was simply delighted to see photos of the crop. It was almost like I was there (without the cake, of course). So glad you got one of my ATCs. That made it special to me.

That's a fun, fun rolling pin. I think you'll put it to good use for the crop next year.

I don't know how you managed to get so much accomplished when you had to leave so quickly, but I sure enjoyed seeing everything. And sharing photos of the wedding was lovely, too.

I saw the post below, and was amazed at the time and effort you put into that card. It makes me wish I had a few dies!!

Thanks for the earlier visit, too. Hope you are still in your bubble and feeling no pain. Let's hope even after the good drugs wear off, you'll feel good, too. You've been through enough for one year (and lifetime). Happy WOYWW from #1.

How cool is that rolling pin? Love it! I'm very slow in returning visits this week so I imagine you're no longer in that "happy bubble"! It was great to see you looking so well on Saturday.

What a great collection of photos, Shaz. It looks as if a great time was had by all! Love the "red white and blue" photo lol! I redid my hair today and it's nice and bright again - you're a bad influence, you know that my friend??!! Thought I'd get it done in time for my chemo because I probably won't feel like doing it after!

Thanks for your lovely comment, and your good wishes for tomorrow. An early start for the port-a-cath to be installed and then straight into the chemo. Glad you like the 2 cards I made!

Happy belated WOYWW,

Hi Shaz,
I'm pleased you got one of my ATCs. And what a fabulous day you all had, even if you could be there all day. I looked at how you made that white card! Wow, there sure was a lot involved! And I think I need those edge cutting dies :)
