Well. I'm back-ish! Bit of a mix of too much to do in the home, with our bedroom, too much time taken up doing Wedding Stationery for people, and a severe case of missing mojo. I think the Wedding Stationery and the missing mojo are actually cause & effect, to be honest. I've realised that for me, there is really nothing creative about making hundreds of the same thing, in various permutations. Didn't help that one of the Brides wanted hers ASAP, and the second one was slower than I expected about getting me the names & numbers, so I ended up pretty much doing the two at once.
Oh, and having a ridiculous amount of trouble getting Blogger to play ball & upload pics. I've been using Livewriter for the last few weeks as Blogger had become a joke, but am using Blogger today, and so far, so good.
Anyway, I made time to play today, in the hope of enticing Mr Mojo back. I think its working, because he was definitely peeping around the door, if not exactly sitting on my shoulder yet.
So whats on my desk? Well, I bought the Tim Holtz Distress Markers, when they finally arrived over here, and apart from a little try out, I really haven't touched them. So I have done a bit of stuff with them, which is all in the previous post, as I've scheduled this one ready for Wednesday, and wanted to keep this post fairly short. So I shall enjoy hopping all over the world today, courtesy of our much loved Hostess, Julia at the Stamping Ground. Happy Wednesday everyone, see you later.

Doing huge amounts of invitations is not my idea of fun...hope they were well received! It sounds like you need to break free and create something off the wall to satisfy your artistic streak!!
It's really nice to see you back btw :)

With you on the repetitiveness of wedding cards. It's great people love your work and want to use it.....but it does rob the old mojo somewhat!

I know what you mean about the wedding stuff. I did D1 last year and have D2 to do this year. when you get stuck go play with some nice buttons!

Hi Shaz. What a gorgeous image at the top of your Blog. Sorry to hear you have lost your mojo. I am sure that a trip around WOYWW will help kick start it for you as well as the fab markers. WOYWW Hugs from Helen 14
Nice to see you Shaz. I agree about cause and effect and have given up wedding stationery..found it was causing me to push to deadline becasue I didn't want the repetition, ad that's not good for the nerves! Have fun with the Distress Markers, well deserved treat if you ask me! The 'huffing' is a technique I was taught by someone from Marvy years ago, and works beautifully on the stamps you were playing with.
Oh I so understand mr. Mojo running away when you have to do 100's of the same thing. That kills me too!
Hope you have time to play with the new markers soon.
Happy very belated WOYWW
As I said when I commented on your last post, Shaz, I don't think you've lost your mojo at all! What you are doing is just great. Sorry you've got to do repetitive cards - not the most interesting or fulfilling of activities, is it. I'm making some for the craft show at church next weekend and have actually quite enjoyed it, but I'm terribly slow which can be a bit frustrating!
Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog and I'm glad you like my poppy picture.
Sorry to be so long responding but I've been having problems with my comments awaiting moderation not being visible - it turns out it's a Blogger/Firefox problem since the latest Firefox upgrade, so I'm temporarily using IE till they sort it out - hopefully soon!
Happy belated WOYWW,

I tell you I am sick of blogger playing games to and I am seriously thinking of other options.
Love the markers I must be the only one who has not purchased them. LOL
Have a great crafting week

I think it may have been me that suggested Windows Live Writer, Shaz - I've been using it for ages and it's so much better than blogger's own. Blogger can be such a pain sometimes! I've got my comments back on Firefox now, at least, and have been working through them all, hoping to catch up before Wednesday and the next round of WOYWW lol! If I continue to get problems I may use IE for blogging, but it's a nuisance using 2 different browsers and I do like Firefox.
Thanks for your comment, anyway! Hopefully I'm back on track now!
