WOYWW #573- The I stamped something Edition.

I did indeed, and I'll show you that in a minute. As always on Wednesdays, we're here to share our desks with the world, courtesy of our much loved Leader, Julia, at The Stamping Ground.

As you can see, folders of stamps open here, there and everywhere.

I have ideas, you see, on what to do with these backgrounds I did a few weeks ago.

I have really bright sunlight coming through the window next to my desk, so apologies for the shadows.

This is the first one stamped up, I just need to add some colour to the butterfly, and probably the toadstool too, I will do that with pencils.
Amazing thing is, it came out exactly as I had the idea in my head. Not too often that happens, lol. The caterpillar & toadstool , as well as the words, are all Lavinia stamps. The Butterfly is an old Papermania stamp.
My shoulder seems to be improving, thanks to a bit of Googling- despite
the fact you should never Google medical symptoms, rofl- my shoulder pain, which we'd started to suspect was caused by a trapped /pinched nerve, well that seems to be precisely what is causing it- a pinched nerve in my neck, and after Doug feeling about on my neck,  I have one very sore spot on the right side. So, still going with the pain relief gel & painkillers.
Which brings us round to.....And Finally.........

Ouch Shaz it's horrible when you have a pinched nerve. Hope the gel works and that it is all the way better soon. Like what you did over those backgrounds. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #7

Lol at the And Finally!!! Though I'm not a great chocolate eater, it's been very difficult to keep the weight off these past few months....sigh.... Sorry to hear your shoulder's still giving you gyp, hope Doug's manipulations have helped in the long run. Rhys has got Magic Hands too, he's brilliant at sorting me out. I love your card, great idea which has translated really well - that could be used for so many things!

Hello again! It's been too long! How are you going? How's that pesky tailbone (or lack of) going? I really hope you are well on the mend and you were able to go on holidays again (I seem to remember you had bad news every time you went on holiday). I love those side stripe backgrounds but the thing that has cheered me most about my visit is that meme about punctuation and chocolate, so I have stolen it! Much love to you, Lisa-Jane (#23)

Hi Shaz.. do love those Lavinia stamps, watched Tracey the otger night on a video.. as result of a desk visit of course. Lovely card... and great funny.. I coukd eat chocolate for week cept am on a chocky ban. I have zero temperance with it so no buy. Re shoulder maybe some gentle massage as rub in cream will help. Or if all else fails go tp Dr and maybe some tests.. if not already done of course.
Happy WOYWW 😊
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.

ooh I hope those ointments and such start helping soon, and your shoulder stops hurting Shaz. Ooh and the color blocking for those stamps looks super :) sometimes I totally think I need more space so I could do that spread out the possibilities while playing. ~Stacy #32

Super stamping and glad you have worked out your shoulder pain. Mine is a bit more insidious as I have calcification of the tendons, my plain of movement is decreasing, so I'm seeing a specialist in August as it will be over a year by then and have already tried the osteopath and physio. The pain is only really bad when I move out of the plain it can go so any stretching beyond that and I'm in tears! Anyway I am even hopeful that the calcification will naturally absorb itself....... Thanks for the visit BJ#11

Sorry you are still suffering with your shoulder, Shaz, but glad to hear it is a bit better now. Well done getting all your stamps organised. Hilarious funny this week! Lol! I can identify... Thank you for visiting, and I agree, it's really hard to believe we've had the kitties all this time. I look back and see them so tiny, and I do miss that all-too-short period of their kittenhood! Thank goodness I made so many videos of them. I'm glad you like my wedding dress! I designed it myself and it is mixed-ethnic in style, with elements of Russian and Thai! Oh well, Shoshi has always had eclectic tastes... I got my Dr Martin's Bleedproof White on your recommendation and it's awesome stuff, isn't it - it was through getting that that I discovered the gold, and decided to treat myself to a bottle of that, too. These paints are not cheap, but I think they are going to last a nice long time.

Happy WOYWW,

Such lovely light you have! Would love that!
Isn’t that stamp platform the best invention? I wouldn’t trade it for anything. So lucky to have bought one early!

Hope your neck has relaxed by now.

Happy Wednesday! (You are 8 hours ahead of me so it’s still Wednesday for me)

Oh dear, hope you get your shoulder sorted soon!! Well done one the stamping, I'm itching to get my Lavinia stamps out but not just yet, need to complete a few more WIPS before I reward myself!! I think I have already given up judging by my expanding waistline! Nowhere else, just my waist. It's not even that I eat much, its all the alcohol I think!! Wow, Shaz, look at you doing stamping and better yet, having a whole card front turn out as you envisaged! That’s impressive. That journey from brain to cardstock is so hazardous when you actually have a plan! I hope with a couple of extra days on top that your neck and shoulder might be easing a little. I know what you mean about Goggling symptoms. I always end up on an American site and they always extrapolate into a horrible worst case scenario. I had a pain where my gall bladder used to be and couldn’t shift it..caused me to wince and drop things if it caught me wrong. Young Dr said I had to have a ultrasound before he could do anything. Pain got worse and scan appointment nowhere on the horizon, went back to Dr. Older Dr said I’d trapped a nerve under my shoulder and gave me a couple exercises to do and it really helped. Web MD and NHS online were telling me I probably had liver or kidney cancer. Scan finally showed nothing and trapped nerve in trapped in time. Long story, sorry!

ROTFL!! I love the chocolate post! So sorry for your pain, pinched nerves take a long time to heal, but they eventuality do. I love the backgrounds, great idea to make several and then stamp later. I love Lavinia stamps too!
Have a great week, stay safe! Lindart #33
