WOYWW #550- The Almost Christmas Edition

Indeed it is, and I hope everyone has a fabulous Christmas. Many thanks to all those who have sent cards- I should have made a list, but didn't think of it till now. But you all know who you are.🎄🎅.
I've finally done some crafting- making a batch of backgrounds using up strips of cardstock cut from scraps & leftovers. Something I saw Jennifer MacGuire do. I did a post on it a while ago, you can find it HERE if you're interested. It's something I can do either in my craft room, or sat on the settee, so works well.
And believe it or not, that's me done this week. Not a single enable in sight! I have got an order at Country View Crafts, in her Advent sale, but I'm waiting for that, and it's only Archival re-inkers.
And a blog post wouldn't be the same with an And Finally...............

True, Dat.

thank you for your gorgeous card too, Shaz. Hope your inks come soon - I've not ordered anything more since the 2nd paperartsy day and that only came yesterday; I think it's been popular this year! Your stripey backgrounds look so pretty Have a great week. Helen #7

Morning Shaz. I just LOVE that "and finally". I wish it wasn't true... but... well, let's just say I spent last night in front of a Christmas Midsomer Murders, and attempting a jigsaw... Oh well. Those backgrounds are stunning - well done. It's good to see you are up for some crafting.
Take care. God bless you both. Have a truly beautiful Christmas.

Oh dear, how true! but never mind, tomorrow I might actually be in the mood!! Frankly am grateful for the enable-less status, it’s probably only the first time this year, so don’t feel bad about it will ya! The strips are such a brilliant idea...I think it will work well with grouped colour patterned papers too, which sort of gives me hope that I could get some genuinely useful ‘sorting’ done this holiday!

Hi Shaz, great minds think alike on the list making but just like you I didn't think about it till now so thanks for the lovely card. I also have to say that I've been working on left-over Masterboards this week so there must be something in the water! or maybe I've just realised I need to use it or bin it and we can't do that Lol! I do hope your Christmas is full of cheer and happy moments. Sending big gentle hugs, Angela x13x

Hi Shaz, not blogging but just popping in to let you know to say a very big thanks for your card it arrived safely here today and love it very much lot of work in the various layers etc. (4 rectangle pieces of matted snowflake background and the layers merry Christmas on top), very beautifully made as always.
Pray you’re okay, and feeling more up to things.... love the funny very much like that here, for sure! Today’s main aim was to wrap pressies, still on table in piles, had visitors so nice... and always is time tomorrow.

I’m healing slowly but not crafting so not blogging not up to commenting anyway. God willing leg will be less painful by next week am able to move fairly well now which is great. I craft standing up hence no crafting but doing lots of videos but not much buying which is good.
Saw your Lavinia stamps on special yest but didn’t succumb. If they’d had a really nice group of fungi I would’ve bought them but none so all safe!
Every blessing for Christmas will have post next week on Christmas Day or so is the plan we will see!
Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too.
Hugs, Shaz in Oz.x

Just got my parcels to wrap now and I think I might almost be ready. We are having our usual quiet time - except for the day we spend with Ben - that might be a bit livelier. Thanks for your fab card - you are so clever! All the very best for Christmas and and a Happy and Healthy 2020. xxx Jo
