WOYWW #473

Well, I don't know about where you are, but here in the UK it's blisteringly hot. Possibly not as hot as you, but you have to remember we Brits are used to an average one week of sunshine a year, somewhere around Easter, so this is most unusual for us. 😁
Meeting up over at Julias place, The Stamping Ground, ready for this weeks desk-a-thon.
On my desk this week, is another ATC arrival, this time from Kelly. Lovely card & ATC, thank you so much Kelly.

And, talking about ATC's, I think it's high time I sorted them all and got them into storage pockets.

This mountain of ATC's go all the way back to our 5th Birthday, and include the Halloween special we did one year.

The cards that so many send with their ATC's are there too, so I think this job is long overdue.

Over the weekend I made a few Christmas cards, for the Christmas Card Club Challenge .

Following the sorting of my embossing folders, I decided it was time I made more use of them!

While I was die cutting, I cut some Bauble shapes from foiled card, then I've added detail to them with texture paste, stencils & glitter.

So that'll be another project to finish later in the week.

And finally.........................

I particularly love the Bee description!

Love your C cards, which reminds me I do not use my embossing folders enough either. Maybe a marathon use of them and then turn them into C cards would be good for me. Thanks for the prompt.
I bought a few sheets that hold nine, i think, atc's and put them in a ring binder. I find that is best and takes up less room than making lots of little books myself. Plus it is easy to flick through with a cuppa and remind oneself of the people who made them (and in the case of WOYWW the years of making). You certainly have a lot of sorting to do, should keep you quiet for a while.
Hugs, Neet 9 xx

Your C cards are gorgeous - I love your wreath stamp - and I've just realised I don't use my embossing folders very often either - I think I'll get some out this week and have a play. The baubles are looking glorious and will look stunning on cards.
Love the funny at the end, I think bees will alwasy be fussy buzzies from now on!
Stay cool and have a great week,

Should be 'always' and 'fuzzy buzzies' - sorry for spelling mistakes! x

I have all my ATCs in holders, except this year's 9th anniversary. I must be ahead of the game. BUT, I have made NO Christmas cards, and would NEVER be able to make any as beautiful as yours. They are fabulous.

Got a great laugh at the Breastie Nestie and Maybe Baby. That is quite clever. Happy WOYWW from #3.

Well, when you’ve hit on a solution for the ATCs, no doubt you’ll share and I will copy....was thinking of clip framing them in a big old collage actually, but maybe I’ll wait and see where you go with it first....! I like the Fuzzy Buzzy, but I most like Stabby Grabby! How funny! Lovely Christmas cards. Lovely baubles. Can’t face either. Notice that most companies have launched Christmas already. Totally understand why but am going to give myself the luxury of another month off!!

It's been a bit cooler here today - I've even seen some clouds! - but it's heating up again. Well, must not complain - it's a tad too hot for my liking but overall we've had a pretty good summer so far! At least you're keeping your swaps together - mine are all over the place and badly need organizing as well - or at least collected into one pile! Love the embossed backgrounds and the baubles look great too! I could go with licky-sticky, though most of the stamps are now self adhesive! Have a lovely week, Shaz and try to stay cool - zsuzsa #23

Gorgeous Christmas Cards! I love the white embossed background! It's hard to choose a favourite one! What are you going to do with all your cards and ATCs? I got an ATC from Kelly as well! Have a great week, Lindart #38 PS-my favourite rhyme: Breastie Nestie. Reminds me of "Over the Shoulder Boulder Holder"!

Isnt it lovely to look back over the ATCs. My ones for WOYWW 4 are on the side of my drawers on my desk where I can see them. The ones for WOYWW5 are in a pile that need sorting. I am a bit late to the party tonight - thanks for sharing. Caro x (#42)

Hi Shaz, ooh the additions of texture to the baubles is cool to see. I started adding (hunting images) of embossing folders last week and I think I am about a 1/3 of the way through them so far. I had been thinking that since I had the basket out I should run some through the machine and have a little stack of texture ready to go.

hehehhe love that, very funny! you definitely should treat yourself to a nice folder to keep your ATCs and cards in, I love looking through mine that friends have sent me and they're inspiring, you can just flick through for ideas. I have a folder full of pocket letters too, but not the heart to break them up and use stuff! :o) Annie C #18

Happy Belated WOYWW. You have a big, but enjoyable, job sorting those ATCs. I put mine into folders as I receive them - and it is wonderful to flick through. Fantastic Christmas cards. I plan to start on mine next week - always do Christmas in July. I am hoping to make all of mine using my Scan n Cut, so some sort of 3D box cards. Ali x #27

Shaz I remember back in June 2004 when we spent a week in London. We stayed at a BnB in Westminster, which was supposedly King Edward VII's mistress manor. It had HUGE portraits in its sitting room of Lillie Langtry and Queen Alexandra. Anyway, it was actually sunny and hot the entire week, especially in the afternoon. But by nighttime it was cool. I remember wishing more places had air conditioning lol. Gorgeous artwork all round xoxo
