Good Morning, and how is everyone? Hopefully all clear of snow at last! The last of ours is pretty much all gone. Enough that I was able to take myself off out for a walk around town on Monday.
Paid a visit to The Range, and snagged a few items.
A pack of 12 one metre lengths of spotted ribbon for £1.99. Two rolls of masking tape, and a roll of really narrow DST at a pound each, and a Hampton Arts Glue pad, at £2.99.
Not had much luck with Glue pads in the past, but thought this was cheap enough to be worth the try.

Working on Mothers Day cards at the moment, so they'll get blogged after Sunday.

I've embossed the corner with a Darice folder, and stamped the opposite corner with a HoneyDoo stamp, Flower Frenzy.

I've also stamped it onto vellum, so I can layer up the flowers.

And that is me done this week. Really short, and hopefully sweet. There are some Robin Christmas Cards in the post below, from this weeks Christmas Card Club challenge.

And finally.......................

So, go link yourself up at Julias place, The Stamping Ground, and have a browse around an amazing array of desks, and projects.

We don't have any shops like the Range round here, even Hobbycraft is a 3 bus journey.... that ribbon looks great (but I really don't need any more ribbon!) Happy WOYWW Helen #??

Saw your post on FB awaiting the linkup...Love the ribbons and understand what you mean about the glue pads. I have a "Perfect Medium" one and it is far from perfect in fact the pad has degenerated and turned into mush. Now it isn't standing proud so makes things difficult so have to use my finger for application. Wish we had a Range!! BJ#soon

Morning Shaz, those Hobbyart robins are so cute and I love the variety of cards you have made with them. I haven't moved over to the Versafine Clair inks as I have 2 Onyx Black ink pads and a re inker for them so I will keep going with them until they are done (I have all the other Versafine colours in the small ink pads too). Some nice bargains from The Range. Have a great week. Sarah #10

Ooer.....pretty ribbons....now that’s my sort of shopping. They would do nicely with the spotty fabrics I’ve been using this week. Have a fun week my friend.

Morning Shaz. Great finds at bargain prices! Those Mothering Sunday cards are looking great so far. Well done. Glad you are able to get out and about a little now the weather is looking up somewhat.
Take care. God bless.

Well I look forward to seeing dotted bright ribbon on any of your makes....I wonder how long it will take? I have so so much ribbon that I don't even look at that I'm considering donating it. Use about half a metre a quarter if I think hard about it! Love the start on your Mothers Day cards, they're going to be lovely. I confess to not doing too much to the one for my poor Mama, she tends to rip any card or paper you put in her hands and whilst I don't have a problem with that part, I don't like it when the care staff do that 'oh no, penny, don't' thing!

Lol at the And Finally!! It's getting worse too :-D Ah well, who cares, just have another gin.... :-D
Those Range goodies are brilliant, especially the ribbons, that's a real steal...I may have to toddle off to Llanelli and visit our store there. You enabler you *grin*

Fab bargains - love the ribbon! Tempted but as I set off early in the morning I can't see me getting there. Thanks for the tip, only been to Lanzarote before in the Canaries. Just booked for Fuertaventura for September so giving them a good try out this year LOL. Still going to the crop though so see you there.
Shame about PSunny as I got a new purse type thing which I am sure you will love - for my pens actually - will have to put it on the blog but not quite the same effect.
Your cards look lovely, I do like a lot of the Honey Doo stamps and you have used this to perfection in a corner.
I don't actually use the magnets - just when I am dem'ing but not at home on account of my Pacemaker - not that I think it would make any difference - I don't get that close.
Hugs to you both, Neet xx

Hi Shaz, that's a nice little haul from The Range. I had to visit our nearest branch recently too and for adhesive too. Since our local craft shop closed down we have nowhere local so it's a trip to the Kilmarnock Range instead - shame! The stamped vellum will make really pretty flowers for you mother's day cards. I'd have chuckled at the funny but it's too close to the truth for comfort ... I have to keep a diary just to remind what I did yesterday. Your robin cards are gorgeous. They are the prettiest birds. We have been much entertained by the two robins that have been visiting our garden during the cold snap. Have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #27

great looking desk with new stash! I don't know what the Range is but assuming it is like our Dollar Tree. I haven't found much in the way of crafting stuff recently there. Might need to go look! I love ribbon and have a lot, too much, truth be told! Love the start of the cards...look forward to seeing them when you get them done. Have a good week. Vickie #32

Oh pretty ribbon. I have a weakness for ribbon! I bought a glue pad for something I was doing a few years ago. Very pricey and I didn't do much with it, can't even remember what it was for now!! Bet it's no good. :-( Live and learn.
Just been looking at the Robin cards and tags- love them!!!
Have a great week. Just heard some more snow !!! eeeek :-( Anne x #20

Hi Shaz, lots of bargains to be had at The Range. I love to browse there, and not just the crafty section! I think I've fallen in love with your robins, so cute! Thanks for stopping by earlier. Lucy (Sweet Poppy) was lovely, patiently demonstrating. I watched twice but haven't tried it out yet. These are the first metal stencils I bought, so looking forward to using them. Have a lovely week Heather x #13

Pretty ribbon. Hope the glue pad works for you. Looks like a good start on your Mother's Day cards. I have yet to start, gotta get it in gear! And had quite a giggle on your quote, I can relate! Hope you have a great week!

I don't think my Range stocks any of those items other than the double sided tape - and I'm intimately acquainted with all the stock by now LOL! Never heard of a glue pad - must look into that! Thanks so much for visiting earlier! Happy WOYWW! xx

Hi Shaz, what pretty ribbons! My hubby took me out shopping yesterday and at the end, we were wondering whether to go to Range but in the end decided not to as it was getting late and I was getting pretty tired - I knew if I went I'd just Spend Money lol!! The beginning of your Mother's Day cards looks intriguing and I really look forward to seeing the results - your cards are always amazing! Love your funny this week - brilliant! I know the feeling... Thank you for your lovely comment - I'm probably being pessimistic but I keep waiting for the postponement message from the hospital! I'm not going to get in a state about it though - it will happen when it happens, but it really needs sorting.

Happy belated WOYWW,

Happy Belated WOYWW! Great bargains you got there! I can't wait to see the finished cards; I haven't used velum in years, and once almost every card was layered with it..oh, and Mulberry paper! Hmmm, so where is my stash of both? You know I still have some! LOL! Have a great week.
