WOYWW #456

So, two months down already, and March tomorrow. WOYWW as usual, over at The Stamping Ground.
I sorted my cards, and made up the dividers. Liked them so much, I did the same for my dies too.

Getting my moneys worth out of that Laminator, lol. And getting down some of the cardstock mountain into the bargain.

The dividers I had in already were made from really thick chipboard style card, so having much thinner ones now means I can fit in more dies! Result!

Speaking of which, I said last week I wanted a reasonable sized Dragonfly die, and at a reasonable price, as I probably won't use it enough to justify buying the TH one.

Happened to spot one on Amazon, for £1.49, free shipping. One of the cheap Chinese dies, which I hadn't expected to see on Amazon. Anyway, thought I'd have to wait a few weeks for it, but it arrived yesterday-Tuesday- and I only ordered it on Thursday..

It's roughly 3" wide x 2 3/4" tall, (7.2x6.0mm).

Organising my cards has let me see what I ought to be making to have pretty much all occasions covered, and to that end I'm in the middle of some Baby cards- 4 each boy & girl. They'll get blogged when I finish them, probably Friday.

and finally .............................
............... ain't that the truth!

.........which actually made me think of this funny too. Not me, I hasten to add, but I am absolutely definite that Doug would!

Anyway, I'm hoping that none of you have too much snow, we've only really had the odd scattering, and when it has gone on for a while, it's only tiny little snowflakes, so barely more than about 4 snowflakes high here.

Lucky you re the snow. I want ours to go now, had enough, looks pretty but I think it is dangerous (slippery , driving etc).
That was a very lucky dragonfly purchase, and wow, how quick was that!! Great organisation - I do that with my dies too - only the thin ones of course.
Love the pram cards, such a pretty image.
Take care, Hugs, Neet 5 xx

Love your dragonfly....well done with getting such a bargain. I love your funnies and can relate to both. It’s like when a waiter puts your plate on the table in front of you and tells you it’s very hot....you just have to touch it don’t you? 😂😂😂

Well, those And Finally pics made me hoot - been there, done that! Except the taser bit, but i get that totally! You have been a busy bee, the die storage looks much better and very organised, I like that. I can't tell you how much I've been enjoying using the bits and pieces you sent me, the flowers and flourishes are my def favourites...thank you again xxx
Don't be lashing the huskies to the sledge quite yet then :-D

Ha ha, I know a lot of chaps who would risk tasering themselves to see what it was like!! Am liking the organisation very much, makes the dies incredibly accessible I must say. I have mine in a folder and the way it’s stored now makes access a bit difficult for a lazy person. Especially the putting away part. I can’t remember the last time I made a birth or new baby card, I think I’ve only got one stamp that would do now, and that’s just a phrase saying ‘cutie patootie’!! Very admiring of your inventory missus.

Beautiful organisation - I love the die storage and it looks much easier to find things than the folder system that I use - question is do I have the energy to re-do it all!
Just had a peep at your last weeks post as I've missed a few Wednesdays and I am totally in love with your butterfly cards - the black butterfly over the top is a stunning addition - they are just gorgeous.
Hope you have a good week, stay warm,

Ha ha on the taser... and the guys I know all have these electric collars they use to train their hunting dogs and wouldn't you know it on monday they were talking about this very same thing shocking them selves just to "see" lol. ( must be a guy thing) ;) Love the pile of baby cards underway and those dividers too. ~Stacy #28

Looks like your cards are well organized! Very good! Nice looking die, too. Had a good laugh at your 2 phrases, especially the tazer one. And we got a bit of snow this morning! So shocking for the desert! Beautiful but left a wet mess of the roads. But we do need any moisture we can get.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Funny! I doubt I would taser myself either...I worked and ED and saw it done a couple times but...nasty things! Love all the organization. I have been using 3 ring binders but thinking about going to a box with a lid... I get it fixed up one way then go and switch it out later! Glad you got your dragon fly die! I hate paying full price for any of the TH or others dies. I found that Sizzix.com will carry them cheaper on their sales so I buy then. Also found that Wish.com is carrying a lot of fun dies now...cheaper Chinese dies but worth the money! Hope you have a great week. Vickie #32

Hi Shaz, as always your funny quotes at the end made me laugh. I know a few people who would taster themselves to see what it felt like! Your die storage looks great. I have mine on A4 MDF sheets with magnetic sheets stuck to them, but there is no organisation there. I need to remove them all and categorise the sheets ... Maybe next week lol. Have a lovely week Heather x #31

Hi Shaz, we definitely have not escaped the snow. I haven't seen so much, coming down so quickly and for so long and it's about 12" deep (30cm) though thank goodness it has stopped now. I refuse to look at your organised boxes Lol! as they are making me feel to guilty as I desperately need a good sorting but have been busy making stuff and as you can imagine this just ends up in a large pile Lol! Must try to have a tidy up soon. Thanks for stopping over at mine and happy woyww, Angela x16x
