Nearly missed another weeks WOYWW- just realised in time what day it actually is! Where we work, we have Monday and Tuesday holiday for Easter, as we only work half a day on Friday anyway, and I only just realised today is Tuesday, so I need to get my post sorted out. Regulars will know that Julia, over at The Stamping Ground is our weekly host for this blogfest.
Sorting out Christmas images for the Christmas Card Club post, and came across these, which mostly just need some colour adding to make them usable.
Had another bunch of images I decided to cut into tags, using the Sizzix Thinlits Tags die set.
No idea where I'm going with these yet, they will probably end up back in the poly envelope until inspiration strikes.
I think the first batch will get some colour using the Starlights paints from Imagination crafts, so that will most likely keep me occupied this evening. Some may just get some dye inks sponged on, we shall see.
All of these have been lying around for a few years now- I tend to stamp up a number of any image while I have the stuff out!
Short and sweet this week, so I'll see you later.

Bank Holidays confuse me too... getting an extra day would be even harder!! Love your piles of die cut tags, I am sure they will turn into masterpieces one day!! Happy Wednesday... I think! Helen #??
These bank holidays do cause confusion for us bears of little brain don't they? It's like jet lag for a week or two lol. Hope you have a great week.
Hugs,
Annie x
I clicked on the images to have a closer look and those cards are really lovely! The angels and music rally appealed to me, very art nouveau 💖💖. Hope you are both ok, I'm enjoying having my boy at home!
Hugs, LLJ ?
I like your idea of stamping up a batch of images and die cuts. The christmas card already look beautiful.

I'm with Sandra on stamping up a bunch of images .... as I always say 'must be nice to be intelligent!' lol
Have a good week

Happy WOYWW. I am confused already about which day it is - this week seems ridiculously short, and I have no idea where April is going to, and we don't even go 'out' to work! Christmas cards are very far from my thoughts right now, but I always admire those sensible crafters who create all year round. Ali x #5
Wish I could be disciplined enough to stamp more than once an image I am using - would save me lots of time in the long run.
Some really nice images there Shaz - look forward to seeing the colouring on them.
You are not back at work are you? I assume you mean you are confused because of Doug's working pattern.
Hugs, Neet 22 xx
I have to thank you again for the idea of having those Poly pocket pages, they are brilliant for storing all the little pieces until you need them. I think once the stamp has ink on it you may as well keep going Lol! Have a great crafty week and happy woyww, Angela x16x
Oh yes, I like to stamp up a whole bunch at the same time too! Those images (top pic) are absolutely gorgeous and now I simply must know what they are please :) in particular, the houses and the angel one? I'm quite sure I need them :) seriously.
Thanks for visiting earlier. That's a good idea to stamp extra images for a quick finish later. There's nothing better than coming across useful stuff, just ready for finishing off. Sarah #11
Oh no you mentioned the "C" word and only just after the Easter BH confusion too - LOL.
BJ#13 back from the dentist, still numb and trying to fill time before being allowed lunch, but not until after 2pm!! Thanks for visiting me.
It was lovely having the long weekend but I too was totally confused by the days...not helped by a note from the council telling us that at the end of the month our bin day will change from a Friday to a Monday. I see a few more weeks of confusion ahead for me.

Thankfully we get the whole week off so I actually have time to visit all the work desks this week! You are certainly going to be well organised for Christmas this year - I'm usually last minute. Have fun with the colouring and sponging.

Well done on sorting your Christmas images - s'funny but I've been making a Christmas card today too. Hope you are continuing to make a great recovery
Happy WOYWW and thanks for expaining PIF to me

You have so many lovely things to work with on your desk. I love the Christmas images!
Hi Shaz, Great idea to use the pockets. Looks like you have enough stash to keep you out of mischief for a while;)
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Happy WOYWW

Going back to work on a Tuesday I was convinced it was Monday all day. I won't have a clue for the rest of the week either. Bank Holidays are lovely things but they confuse us far too easily don't they?
You are looking very industrious as always, Shaz.
Thanks for visiting earlier and have a good week.

I am nodding my head as a read a long sitting here because, every time I do something messy I do a stack of them too :)
I might have been really dumb when I first started pulling off sentiments with abandon from their blocks because, I am starting to forget who made them so, I am trying to be more careful with names going forward. such is life. I have way more retired stamps than new this minute ones. it's only been the last few years that people ask about the stamps. Thanks for the earlier visit :) ~Stacy #32
Making a real effort to squeeze in a few desks this week!! Where does the time go? I love the colour combos of those little tags - so useful too. x Jo
Glad it's not just me being confused by the days, don't get me started on what day I need to put the bins out! Looks like you're being reading organised, looking forward to seeing how they turn out. Cara x
I've been confused as well Shaz, not unusual though these days!!! You seem to have been doing well creating - I need to do more!! Thanks for popping by. Anne x #21
Hi Shaz, looks like your Christmas cards are practically all done with these images and the tags will be very useful. I should take a leaf out of your book and stamp up multi copies for future use. Good luck with the photo sort out. I've decided not to scan the hundreds of photos as well. It would take far too much time. I've better things to do with my time, that is, once I've finished sorting old pics :) Have a great week. Hugs, Elizabeth x #23
I always enjoy visiting your workdesk - and today has been no exception... I love those stamped images :)
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Bubbles #27
Hi Shaz,
Just scrolling through your blog to catch up; I've missed a lot of Wednesdays lately. I love how you compile images at the same time, as well as your mixed media cards and gnomes!
Have a great week.
-K #31
Shaz, we must be on the same wave link, because I forgot it was Wednesday till half way through! :) Love your tags. I would use some on cards and some on scrap pages. Happy WOYWW #38
Thanks for that info. Yes, they would probably be hard to come by, but I will look on eBay (naturally). PSX (Personal Stamp Exchange) was one of the very first rubber stamp companies, many, many years ago, long since out of business, sadly.
Love your production line mentality, Shaz. You are so productive and all the stuff is always great too! I'm afraid my desk has lain neglected for yet another week but it's all systems go shez-Shosh as we are getting the dry rot problem in the kitchen sorted. The work should be finished today or tomorrow, and then we can get the kitchen fitter in to create my walk-in pantry in place of the grotty old cupboard which never worked for me!
Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #44
Love those card toppers - you have some great stamps and in particular I love the Noel and the Angels with the music, although they are all gorgeous! The tags are looking great too.
Hope you have a great week and thanks for the visit to mine,
Diana x #6
I love the Christmas papers... such nice, vintage images. Did you colour them already? I think that will look awesome! I send you sunshine from the Netherlands and a big hug, Marit #20
Thanks for your visit, Shaz - the work is now completed and we are waiting to get the pantry made. Such a relief to have the dry rot dealt with, and that it wasn't nearly as bad as we thought it would be. Mum had a walk-in pantry when we were growing up too, with a big stone slab! I am hoping to have one of those too! I'm so glad pantries are back in fashion again as they are so useful. Hope your upcoming MRI scan goes well. I'm glad you are doing so well! I'm seeing my surgeon at the end of this month and he will plan further surgery to do a more permanent repair on my hernia. Otherwise I'm doing fine apart from some ongoing skin irritation around Kermit - I think my body has changed a bit since the last operation.
Loads of love to you both,
Shoshi x
Hello Shaz! I have been poking about on your blog for a while and thought I'd say hi formally! I love the wide-open nature of your crafting - you play so freely with everything and have such a unique and cool sensibility. I've also been keeping up with your health odyssey and am in awe of how you carry on in the face of all you've had to deal with. Clearly, you have an amazing spirit and you are an inspiration to me.
Robin (Rachelrose)
Thanks Shaz - yes, I'm sure stone slabs were standard in the old days! I'm old enough to remember getting our first fridge. Mum had her pantry with slab, a meat safe and a terracotta milk cooler before that. I can't imagine life without a fridge these days... We're waiting for the kitchen fitter to pay us a call now, to start plans for the walk-in pantry.
Let me know when your next MRI is - hope all is well!!!
Shoshi xx
Hi Shaz, notice you're using mixed media dues below, I bought set 2 after your Christmas card caused me to discover them and used the swirl one into a cardboard stencil and used Gilding flakes two different sorts mixed looked fab. Oh post below my WOYWW post.
Well done on getting organised I always seem to talk of it not do it. Trust and pray you're well Shaz.
Thanks for sharing your inspiration!
