WOYWW #395- The Almost New Year One.

A teeny bit early, I know, but wishing everyone a Happy,Healthy & Peaceful New Year, wherever you are. I'm hoping you've all had a wonderful Christmas, and Santa brought you all that you wanted.
There have been a couple of blog posts below, one with the new storage idea for bare rubber stamps, which I'm loving. So, if that's a problem for you, take a look and see what you think. There's the first of two posts of my favourite makes of the year, and I'll do a second one with my favourite Christmas Card makes.

But, onto the desk. Christmas Stamping Goodies!
Helen will recognise some of these, I'm sure, lol. Hubbie saw them at the crop, and came back and ordered them. Which I also did with the Penguins, which got me in to trouble. Never mind, now I have a spare set, which I think will end up as a raffle prize at the next crop, wherever and whenever that is.

While finding the Katzelkraft Penguins, he also saw these two sheets of cat stamps. Aren't they ace? Love the expressions on the faces.

And finally, these Paper Artsy monsters- just fab.

My card to Beloved Hubby is on the left- Hobby Art Robins which are so sweet. I'll blog this one later on. And Hubbys card to me,which is quite beautiful.

And speaking of Christmas Cards, I said last week I'd get a shot of the cards received. Huge thank you to everyone, they have all been lovely.

And so, when we meet again, it will be 2017. Whatever you are doing for New Year celebrations, we hope you have a great time, and look forward to the next year of WOYWW!😸😸

Hi there gorgeous gal! So glad you had a good Christmas - we did too. Your stamps are great (that Doug is a shopper par excellence!), those cats made me laugh and isn't that the same feather that Helen stamped me at the Crop. I haven't coloured it in yet but as I won't be doing much sewing over the next few weeks, colouring may be my craft of choice!
So here's to a good year for us all - health and happiness to you and the family.
Love ya,
HUgs, LLJ 11 xxxx

Lovely presents - I had some more storage boxes but I really love your idea of the binders. I followed your link and had some happy memories of when we used to collect Postage Stamps .... all the storage and catalogues .....
Have a happy WOYWW, my 'boys' are napping so I have managed to get on the laptop to wish you both a happy New year.

I LOVE the card you made for your hubby! So cute! And those new stamp sets look like so much fun. How wonderful of him to remember the set you wanted, AND to find new ones he thought you would like! Glad you had a great Christmas, and I hope you have a wonderful 2017! Lindart #24

I meant to comment on your stamp storage system, as I am contemplating doing the same. I came across a video, where she sews the pockets to fit her stamps - I thought it was an interesting concept and wondered if you'd seen it. Of course I can't find it at the moment, even though I'm sure I pinned it, but I will send it when I find it! Lindart

What a sweet hubby to get you stamps! And those penguins are just too cute! Love all the Christmas cards! Thanks for your visit. I'm a bit late as hubby surprised me wanting to take the day off and go to town. (He had equipment parts for work and boots to purchase.) I hope you have a wonderful New Year!

A lovely post, Shaz, and my goodness haven't you been productive over the past year? I think you've done remarkably well considering what you've been through. You are a superb card maker and they are all so beautiful! You received a lovely lot too. Card making is becoming less and less my thing I'm afraid! Thank you for your comment and yes, thank you we had a nice Christmas - quiet, after seeing Mum in the a.m. but it's been a very busy social whirl recently with loads of meals out with family and friends! I'm pretty exhausted now!

Not surprised you gained so much weight this past year - it has been hard for you to take much exercise. What we went through tends to make one's weight fluctuate a lot too. I only lost 1 lb last year so I consider it doesn't count diet wise. I'm back on track now. I am sure you will be fine.

Wishing you both the happiest and healthiest of New Years possible. Let's hope we can all see the back of these horrible cancers once and for all, and concentrate on the really important things in life - living, and family, and creativity! And eating cake, of course.

Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #26
