Budget Dies on E-Bay

I mentioned these  a week or so ago, and said I was happy with the couple I'd bought, and had ordered some more.If you've been looking at the cheap 'From China' dies on E-Bay, and wondering if they actually worked, this post is for you.

 This is the batch of dies I ordered, and they came with Free Shipping too.


 So, you can see from the cuts, they work ok. Dimensions and prices then.



This Snowflake Square is the largest of the dies, at
5 1/4"(135mm) square.
 I admit I did have to do some shimming to get the centre area to cut well, but I honestly think that says more about the uneven pressure from the machines rollers, than it does about the die. I've had to do the same with other more expensive dies.
Cost? A whopping £3.65p!








This 4 panel frame die gives you a stitched frame, as well as the four panels cut out, great as you get elements for two cards from one cut.
 The die itself measures 4 1/2 x 3 1/4 (115x83mm). The panels  it cuts out are just under 4"x 1",(10cm x35mm) and 1 1/4" (33mm) square.
 Second most expensive die at £3.09p.

 




Two butterflies next, largest is  2 1/4"x 1 1/4 (57mm x30mm).
Smaller one is 2" x 1 1/4(50mm x30mm).
£1.44 the pair.

 
This Winter Scene is 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" (70mm x95mm).
 Cost- £1.80p.



Final addition to the basket, all from the same supplier, by the way, was an embossing folder.


  It measures 4 1/4" x 5 3/4" (110mm x148mm).
 Cost? £1.41p.
 Total expenditure was £11.39, probably less than I could expect to pay for one die.


 By the way, all the metric conversions are approximate- I'm an Imperial person, lol.
So, would I buy more ? Absolutely.  I'm not one to care about whether something is a brand name or not. It's about the value, and these most certainly are value for money.
