WOYWW #367

Hi folks, another week flown past us, almost Midsummers Day, and the longest day- not exactly been getting the summery weather, have we?  Time for our regular Wednesday meet-up, and in case she pops in, sending you lots of love Julia, slow and steady does it. xxx.
To link up, pop over to LLJ's place, where we are all being welcomed whilst Julia recovers.
On the desk this week, 3 more ATC's have arrived. From left to right, Dolores, (Cardarian), RosA and Elizabeth (Silverscrapper). RosA has also included a gorgeous postcard, and a lovely treasure trove of die cuts.  Love the die cut Kookaburra on RosA's card! Thank you all, ladies for all the ATC's I've received this year, every one will be treasured.

Finally finished off my cataloguing- to see what a task this was, here is my folder, with a print out of each sheet of stamps.
I've added a few pages at the back with my stencils printed on, otherwise it is just stamps. I've split it up into Words, Sentiment & Quotes, Images and Christmas. I just think it's going to be easier to flick through for inspiration like this.

One lovely sight in the garden now is a Black Elderberry. here is a shot from my craft room window. The leaves are a really dark purple so as to be almost black, and it has pale pink flowers instead of the usual creamy white. Bit of reflection on the glass, sorry. So that's me done for this week, lets hope the weather improves a bit soon.
Oh, I forgot, I got some meds of my Doc for the sciatica, and it's not quite so bad now. He's also sending me for an MRI, just to make sure it's not something like a pinched/slipped or damaged disc causing it.

Hi Shaz

Thank you for the lovely ATC which arrived just a couple of days ago. (We had the Queen's birthday long weekend, and were quite out of internet range.)
My head spins at the thought of all that stamp cataloging, but how very useful you will find it! I would like to do the same, but it will never happen :)

Wow that is one thick book to flip through but I agree its more inspiring to see the stamps stamped then just looking at them in reverse.
Wonderful atcs you have there and happy WOYWW hugs Nikki 4

First of all, good luck with the MRI.
Now to the desk - you have a lovely array of atc's to show us, isn't it wonderful how this little idea of Julia's has brought about so much friendship - and some of us get to meet in the flesh (grin).
Congratulations on the folder, I did this when I first began stamping but am afraid as time went on it got neglected and now really needs starting over but ....
Have a good week,
Hugs, Neet 7 xx

Happy WOYWW and Happy early AM...one of those sleepless night. But loving your fun ATC's, always love this event. List of a busy summer here and thankful for the rain and hopefully temps will cool down a bit. Enjoy the stamp pages, I've been thinking about this, hope it works well. What a pretty flowering Elderberry. Hope your pain subsides, I've lived with an ice bag around my neck and shoulder after pulling a muscle exercising !! Enjoy a great week

Good luck with your scan, and I'm glad the pain is easing - sciatica pain is ghastly.

I just love your Black Elderberry - I nearly always buy a plant for it's foliage and not it's flowers, I especially love the purple/black plants - you've got a stunner there!
Glad you've got your folder finished - I have done the same thing and find it invaluable - mind you, my system got a bit complicated when I had to start noting which drawer, and which box in which drawer the stamp were in!!

Hope you have a lovely week,

I've never seen an Elderberry.Yours is gorgeous. What a cheery sight it makes.
I hope all goes well with your MRI.Sciatica is a cruel thing to have.
With 2 metal knees(wonderful), I wonder how many other plastic and metal bits will be added before I'm done.
Also love your prev post with the WELCOME HOME for Julia.Cataloguing stamps...mine are just in a box(bad girl).Still, I don't have all that many.

Well done on the stamp catalogue - mine fell by the way a long time ago unfortunately :-(
As a long-term back pain sufferer - sending you "get better soon" wishes - hope the MRI doesn't show up anything major and it's just a sciatica session that will settle down soon. xxx
Love the ATCs and the Elderflower
Happy WOYWW

It's always nice to receive a little treasure in the mail. I didn't get to be a part of the swap because I was knee deep in getting into the design team I started. It has been a couple of months but I think I am finally a bit better grounded. Glenda #33

Wow! I am impressesed that you are finished cataloguing! Congratulations. What an undertaking. I had tried to do that several years ago, but couldn't keep up with incoming! LOL Now I am trying to do it in Evernote. Same problem, can't keep up. I like the fact though, that with your notebook, you can flip through the pages.
Thanks for the inspirational peek! :) #43

Hi Shaz
Your stamp cataloging look really impressive. I bet it's so easy to find what you want now.

Thanks for your visit earlier, I started filing my stamps, stencils, Dies etc. earlier on in the year after I bought a duplicate stamp set!!!
Nice selection of ATCs you've received. Your Black Elderberry is beautiful, although I only know it as Sambuca Nigra or Black Lace Sambuca, and mine is certainly not as beautiful as yours....
Being a Desker teaches us so much about everything. lol
Have a good week
