WOYWW #213

Another week been & gone- where do they go to?And into July- half a year flown by. Still, that does mean another round of WOYWW, over at The Stamping Ground, with the adorable Julia! My desk offering for this week, the leftover mess from playing with the Stampin Up Swallowtail Butterfly stamp, used in the previous posts.Really Useful box of sponges (Make up sponges, Poundland), some baby wipes, Distress Inkpads, a card & some more images on the easel. A couple of tags, embossing powder, scissors, heat gun. On my OTT lite, my name badge label from the crop. Bottle of water, for watering my Bamboo, behind it, and filling misters & so on.Not enough caffeine in it for drinking, lol.
OK, enabler alert again, sorry ladies. Called in at The Works (again) at the weekend, and they have loads of assorted Papier Mache boxes in there, and these awesome little drawer boxes.
And at 2 quid a throw, not going to break the bank.

A few weeks ago, I posted a picture of a planter I'd done, (another poundstore bargain, stacking planters). Everything in it has gone a bit mad:

Just Petunias & lobelias, and a Fuchsia in the top. I shall be looking to get some more next year, when they have them back. They're really good-this pic is a larger version that I've filled with herb seeds. Its got four sections, the one with the flowers in has three. They just stack one on top of another, so you can layer it as tall as you want.

Another garden shot, its an Elderberry, a black-leaved version (now theres a surprise, from me)- the flowers are a lovely pink colour, instead of the usual creamy white.

So thats me  done, fairly short & sweet. Have a really good week all.

What a fab idea those planters are! Really effective and they use a lot less compost, I should imagine. Anyway, you've obviously got green fingers because the plants look really happy! I'm very late planting mine out this year so they're looking a bit bedraggled at the moment..they'll pick up though!
I'm really glad that the night shift is going so well for you....I still don't know how you do it though!!
Ad I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with those little drawers :-)

Lots of lovely pics this week, Shaz, and all those plants looking so healthy. In answer to your query about techland, not sure how things are at the moment. I need the time to get upstairs and sort out my craft computer to work in line with Doug's insatructions, but as you can see from my photos, crafting is sort of limited to providing sustenance for my two builders, Lee and Adie. They are working hard, so they deserve it. I might try some drawing though as I can do that anywhere. Have a good week. xx Maggie #3 (I woke up 17 seconds after Julia put the link up - good timing!)

Hi Shaz. If they don't have those drawers in my local Works I may have to cry! Your elderberry is looking gorgeous - we left one behind at our old house and the one we planted here is VERY slow to grow so I'm afraid I've got elder envy! Have a great week. MMx #47

Love the busy desk, Shaz, and what gorgeous flowers. That stacking planter is a cool idea - must look out for something like that for the balcony outside my new ARTHaven. So glad you like my new space - keep an eye out on my blog for more photos.

Thank you for your good wishes for my upcoming test - I am trying not to worry as they say only 1 in 10 have cancer but it's still a big worry. More news next week, I hope.

Happy WOYWW,

WOW Shaz love the look of your desk and the way that garden planter is coming along...it is definitely spectacular! Just learned about Elderberry! I actually was wondering what one looked like as I drank my juice earlier!!!! On my vacation I picked up a bottle off Elderberry juice that is suppose to be a great cure all for all sorts of issues and decided to give it a try. We will see! Love the look of your Elderberry bush/tree. Beautiful! Hope you have a great week and thanks for visiting my desk and leaving a message. Vickie #93
