A warm welcome to all my visitors,

Thank you for taking the time to come and look at my blog, I really do appreciate it. I would love you to leave me a comment, even if it’s just to say Hi. It means I can come visit you!

All my designs are original, so copyrighted to me. If I have been inspired by someone elses work, I have named them in the post, and where able, I have provided a link.

Please feel free to use my designs for inspiration, I just ask you to credit me, and provide a link back to my blog.

Thanks, Shaz XX

WOYWW #199

Welcome one & all to the next instalment of our regular wander around the desks, hosted by the Incredible Julia Dunnit, at The Stamping Ground.
Quite a few comments last week, about my tidy desk! So before I get a terrible reputation, its back to its former messy glory.
A few weeks ago, Eileen Godwin, who runs the DT for Lavinia Stamps, (and was one of my earliest followers)  asked  people to let her know if they would be interested in Guesting for the DT, on the new Lavinia Stamps Challenge Blog. So I promptly emailed her, and a couple of weeks ago she got back in touch, and asked if I would like to Guest for April! So out came the Lavinia stamps, and I waited, somewhat impatiently, for inspiration to strike. And then, typically, just like buses, two came along at once, lol.
One I can't show you yet, it will be on my blog on Monday 1st April, and also on the Lavinia Stamps blog, The other is in the post below this, and also on my desk here, on the right, hiding my Guest piece.
Top left too is a stack of reels of dotty organza ribbon, another e-bay find. Those stamped images are still sat there, nagging me. But, a nice long Easter weekend coming up, so hopefully, they will have magically turned into cards by next week. Thats Plan B, by the way. Plan A was to get some work done in the garden, but that idea has been put on the back burner! Plan B sounds better to me, anyway. I can also get my quilt bag put together, so I can get it off to Jo.Well, earlies this week, so I'll be joining in this afternoon. Just remembered, its also 'change the clocks' weekend- but I will have forgotten about that by the weekend, and probably be half way through Sunday before I remember. I usually am.

Shaz, I would definitely go with Plan B. It is probably going to snow anyway, so cosy and warm inside is more comfortable sounding. We were going away but not now. Two wet muddy dogs in a caravan in a cold wet field is not too appealing. Roll on Summer! I shall use the time to get ahead with cards, challenges and DT work, so that we can go away without panic if and when Summer starts. Have a good weekend. xx Maggie #17

Hi Shaz -yes plan 'B' sounds better, was going to say yipee to an extra hour to craft with the clocks changing, by then DH pointed out its loosing an hour- darn it, I feel cheated now!
Congrats on your April guest spot - look forward to following that. Love the card I can see - gorgeous design and colours.

Blimey I had forgotten about the clocks too!! Thanks for the reminder...I should have known having just celebrated the equinox!
I like the fairy card in your previous post, especially the spiral...I've got a thing about them :). I hunt down spiral patterns everywhere I go, sad but true!!

You are lucky you had 2 ideas, sometimes if I put my mojo under pressure, nothing happens...

If you want to pop across the pond to Wurrey BC you can help me in the garden if your heart is set on gardening. I have a zillion perennials that need dug and divided.
Plant club is having a fundraiser so they would be gone very quickly...if I just get them dug.
We have finally had the deluges end and have had a few sunny days...

If no pending trip planned, then I would go with plan B! teehee

That's a lovely design piece you've made. We're giggling at the thought of your stamped images nagging at you though, wondering exactly what they'd be saying to you.
thanks for visiting the bears this week.

Now you are just teasing us, Shaz. Congrats on the guest DT, I can't wait to see what you have created.
I am also looking at envy at all those gorgeous Lavinia stamps, makes my collection seem very poor although with DD collecting too I can always borrow.
I would go with Plan B too, I think someone needs to tell the weather that British Summer Time starts on Sunday.
Happy Easter

Hi! I meant to drop in yesterday but work got in the way (funny how that happens!). I see you use Lavinia stamps in your work and had to pop over there as I was not familiar with them. Such lovely stamps. I will visit when you guest post! Very Cool! Happy Easter! Winnie #78

Far too cold for Plan A so I would plump for Plan B and stay snug. Love the Lavinia card, have a few of her stamps myself but I don't get on very well with my brayer, have a love/hate relationship.
Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment, I'm still trying to catch up.

The 'fairies' quote stamp is by Quietfiredesign, a US firm and some lovely stuff on her site. All the calligraphy is done by the designer. I would buy more but am frightened of potential customs charges and I don't think anyone over here sells them.

Sorry I'm so late. Love your project. I always have two stacks of printed images. One colored and one waiting to be colored since I would much rather color than actually make a card. :-)
